Service is above 5 stars!!! Friendly! Kind. Waitress came to the table more than twice. All the staff was friendly. This is rare. The food was fantastic!! I'm definitely going back telling all my friends. Easy parking. We arrived at 10:45 they opened at 10:30. Beautiful lady even opened the door for us!! Wow. Try the desserts!! We had coffee and it was delicious. My mom said best lemonade!! Try it for yourself!!

We drove a couple of hours to meet my niece and were very glad we chose Castaway. The staff and food are absolutely excellent! We were waiting on my niece who was about 30 minutes away and they saved us a booth until she arrived. The wait staff and owner checked on us very often during the meal and we never had to ask for refills or anything. The food was so good!! An absolutely wonderful experience.

We decided to give this family owned seafood restaurant a try. SOOOO glad we did. Super friendly as soon as we came in the door. Servers were all super sweet and attentive. Food was quick, hot and fresh. I personally think that its better than some of the big chain restaurants at the beach. Will 100% be back when we come towards the beach!!

How did I not know about this place smh. The food is phenomenal as well as the service. Everyone that works there checks on you to make sure you are good and your drinks are never empty. The portions are amazing for the price and good oh my. Definitely family friendly. We will be going again to try something else on the menu ????????????

I knew this place would be excellent when I saw 3 trucks with fishing boats in the parking lot and boy was I right!! This is the best seafood I've ever had. The batter for the fried food was phenomenal and the garlicky butter was beyond amazing. I got the boat trash and everything was so good and the portion was huge. The crab claws totally stole the show though!! I had never seen crab claws prepared like that and hot damn they were out of this world! We asked for half fried half sauteed and that was the best decision I've made all year. I couldn't tell which I liked more, they were both heavenly. Service was great and everyone was super nice. Food came out really quickly and hot and fresh. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, this is a must-stop place to eat. It's kind of difficult to see from the road, but my gps told me where to turn anyway.

This is a hidden gym!!! My Husband and I were told about Castaways by a family member so we tried them out(being seafood lovers and in the commercial fishing industry) . So glad we did!! The food was phenomenal to say the very least. I had the fried whole flounder with homemade coleslaw and potato salad that was like out of this world good. And my Husband had the Boat Trash Plater with onion rings and side salad. Very good as well. Staff was very friendly. Will most definitely come again and again. Thanks Castaways for the wonderful service and outstanding meal.

We were driving through on our way to Alabama from Florida and stopped in for lunch. Buffalo chicken dip is a must from this menu as well as the Buffalo shrimp. Our table ordered two different po-boys, and the blackened shrimp meal. The coleslaw and not getting the hush puppies we ordered were the only disappointments. We came in around lunch time and it was rather busy. Cole slaw was mushy/watered down, and the shrimp meal was missing the hush puppies. Will never be back in this area, but it is worth stopping on your way through if you want some affordable seafood.
