Best WLM Reviews
Solid 4 star restaurant.
Frozen like grocery store tiramisu, salads are quite original and basic. Nothing wrong with a basic salad, but it's not going to get you 5 stars.
Prime rib was good, the sauce was a nice touch but a true fan would want the sauce separate. Having horse radish was a huge plus, and it was some quality horse radish.
Fries weren't anything special.
Baked potato was good but again just a potato, basic. It was edible because they provided tubes of sour cream and store butter (it was a quality salted butter).
To attain 5 stars maybe make a house dressing or dressed baked potato.
The prices were a little high. Just doing the math on a few items and they were definitely being a little greedy on some items.
It's ok to be pricey, but you gotta back that price up with something over your competition.
I didn't try everything, but saw enough that it's a solid 4 stars.
Classic Italian style steakhouse with delicious food. Great luncheon menu. I had the steak sandwich on my last visit and it was amazing! Steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork! Highly recommend!!
This is a classic Italian Steakhouse, one of the last long time family owned ones in the area, so my review gives a little credit to that fact. The vibe is very much as I expected, gave me that nice nostalgic feeling ????.
The food was good, not great, my Ribeye had nice flavor but was a bit chewy, my husband’s Crab Linguine tasted amazing and had great crab flavor, but the crab bits were microscopic. Salads are very basic, small bowl of iceberg lettuce dressed up just a little bit. Hubby’s was drenched in too much Italian dressing, my Roquefort dressing tasted great. Very basic breadsticks served with dinner.
The waitress was very friendly, but a little clueless. We asked about a drink list and her answer was “we have a full bar”. Asked about wine and she told us that they had a special, a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay for $30ish. Not a fan of chardonnay, I asked for a Merlot, so she said:” ah, a red wine and brought us a Chianti.”
We might be back if the occasion presents itself, but this will not be our #1 goto.
While we had a nice waitress, our overall experience was poor. I ordered a steak medium and it came back well done. Our waitress quickly agreed and took it bad to have a new one made and when it came out she waited for me to cut into it and it was raw in the middle and had to be put back on for a few minutes. For the price, this place is absolutely not worth it.
There are some things that just make you feel warm and fuzzy. Cascio’s is one of them. I’ve been coming for over 20 years, and it remains the same. In a world of constant change, let me tell you - it is beyond comforting to have a restaurant like Cascio’s. Stepping in to the restaurant is like being transported, in a good way, to another time that no longer exists in this world.
The food? Absolutely amazing. The filet was very tender. The beef cutlet was just as I remembered, and I get it every single visit. Tender. Tasty. With a nice crunch of a crust. I love their spaghetti sauce and Italian dressing. Nothing like it.
I highly recommend you give them a try. If you haven’t been there for a while, go visit. If you’ve never been there - soak in the old world vibe.
I can’t recommend it enough and I’m totally planning my next visit.
My server Darlene was an absolute delight and made my solo dinner (here on work) much more enjoyable! The owner Alfie also came over and treated me like family. The food was wonderful, prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were huge! Highly recommend!
Had Cascio's for the first time in a long time this weekend, and I wish I hadn't waited so long. I was in Omaha visiting a friend and we wanted a great steak to say farewell. Well,we weren't disappointed. Best steak I've ever had. Love the spot and the service. Owner was awesome and on site. Real, authentic dining experience.
Shared a meal with 8 Mercy High friends that were celebrating Spring birthdays. We had excellent service from Sarah, fantastic meal, comfortable setting, just a perfect evening. Thanks, Cascio’s ????????????????
