Not my type of pizza. Dough very chewy not much flavor. Not too scenic sitting outside between buildings basically an alley. Price reasonable for Miami. No wait as it is not a particular popular spot.
Phenomenal Italian restaurant that has some of the best Neapolitan pizza I have had in Miami. Perfect fluffy dough, fresh Italian tomatoes (low ph) and perfectly cooked (not over or under). This is up there with La Leggenda and O’Munaciello as the best pizza in the city. I learned after eating here that the original restaurant was opened in Naples in 1935 and that they have several locations around the world. If you like pizza you owe it to yourself to check this place out.
The best place to get an authentic Italian pizza in Miami. The location is superb. You will not be disappointed.
Tasty food. They have vegan cheese. No need for reservation. Reasonably priced for south of fifth. Portions are a nice size. Service is warm. Environment is cozy.
Authentic Napolitano style pizza made by pizzaiolos who rotate in from Napoli. It’s the closest thing to being in Napoli. Ciro, and the entire team at Sorbillo’s, are always extending exceptional hospitality while paying attention to all the details.
The wines we tried were horrible. They didn't have anything decent available that was listed on the wine menu. The bottles that they did bring were terrible, we sent the first one back and felt sorry for the server since he was so nice, so we didn't send the second one back but we definitely could not finish it. We had a tiny table for two and they brought our appetizer, pizza and entree all at the same time. There wasn't even room for one of them on the table. It took forever to get the check. We couldn't wait to get out of there. Very disappointed as we've dined there numerous times and didn't have an issue. Their wines, however, have always always been hit and miss, probably because they are not stored properly and are cooked. Thankfully the pizza has been consistently good, but the tonno salad was not as good as before, and neither was the Pomodoro pasta. The pasta was overcooked.
The outdoor ambience is really nice however.
We are locals and have been here a couple times, and have ordered delivery a few times as well, but clearly we do not come enough for them to give us any courtesy. The manager greeted everyone at their tables, engaged in conversation, but only stopped by our table to remove dishes, and did not acknowledge or engage us like he did with every other table. It's so sad as we were hoping this place to be our spot, but clearly we did not feel welcomed and the entire dining experience was a disappointment. The server himself was very nice and apologetic. Perhaps he was overwhelmed and the manager was too busy greeting every other table to take notice out what a disaster our dining experience was.
Authentic Italian restaurant in South Beach.
Perfect spot where to enjoy one of the most popular Neapolitan pizza of Italy. I usually go to the spot in Milan and once a week I feel home when I come to this place.
Nice Neapolitan style pizza. Sorbillo is very famous in Napoli. Though I doubt it’s the same here (the place was empty). I ordered margherita. The dough was a bit on the chewy side. Overall, good option for those who are looking for an authentic Italian pizza in Miami beach.
