Staff was inviting and very welcoming. The place was super cute and actually full! There was no wait and the food came out really fast. I had a chicken taco and a sweet potato taco. Both were great! We will definitely be back:)
Absolute Diamond in the rough! From the home-made EVERYTHING (tortillas, queso etc.), to the amazing service and fun atmosphere…This place is awesome! Small, but packed with flavor! Now our new favorite taco spot in Florida (and we check them all!) plus, Bri made our visit extra wonderful! Be back soon ❤️ ????
Somebody recommended this place to try. I was nervous because I am a birria queen and did not want to be disappointed. First off, the inside is super cute and the staff is very friendly. They make their tortillas homemade from blue corn. Apparently, they have daily special craft tacos on the board. So let's get to it. The birria taco was great. I would've liked a little more heat, so I added their medium sauce, which Is out of this world. But..... my fav taco was the Brussel sprouts. Trust me on this... get it!!! It has the perfect balance of flavors. The sweet potato taco was blah for me. Mushy and lacking flavor. Perhaps an additional tortilla would've held it together. The grouper taco was perfectly seasoned and cooked. This place knows how to make tacos! I'm hopeful for an expansion for them with a liquor license. Tacos and margs!!! If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is not your spot. If you want phenomenal craft tacos, go try them!!!
A cool spot if you’re not looking for authentic Mexican food. Very hipster vibe in regards to scene and dishes offered, don’t get me wrong the food was definitely uniquely flavored but this wasn’t what I was looking for in regards to flavor in my tacos or burrito. Cool artwork outside tho!
This place is a hidden GEM!! The tacos are amazing! There is a huge variety of flavors to choose from and each one is unique and perfectly executed!!! The Duck Asada was cooked perfectly crispy and the blue corn tacos and freshly cooked chips were all incredible! The attention to detail was impressive! Each different hot sauce was flavorful too! Service was fast and very attentive! We brought in a large group of 11 and were well taken care of! I’m only sad I haven’t been here sooner!
10/10 Our experience at this place was very good. Excellent customer service and the dine in area was super clean.
We consider it a little pricey but it is so worth it!!! The food was delicious, everything came out perfect and so tasty. We ordered chips and queso, a birria quesadilla and a chicken tlayuditas. Highly recommend trying the tlayudita, I’ve never had anything like that before it had so much flavor!!
Do not sleep on Casa Masa!! Go try for yourself! Will be back - rating 20 out of 10.
First visit to my new favorite spot in Sarasota. We enjoyed a selection of items starting with the warm house made, blue tortilla chips with queso, followed by a selection of tacos.
Kangaroo taco was absolutely delicious. Super tender, flavorful meat that has taste and texture very similar to filet. Take the adventure and give it a try! You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I also had the brussel sprout taco and the pork belly taco - which were wonderful. The different complexity and textures associated with each bite hit on a level I was not prepared for. My husband had al pastor which were also delicious. Sweet and salty with the pineapple and wonderfully seasoned pork.
The atmosphere was relaxed with a good vibe, upbeat music. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and well versed on the menu. Super delicious.
Went to Casa Mesa for some taco Tuesday ( no taco Tuesday prices).
We had chips and queso($10, beans and rice, a El Pastor Mexican Pizza ($20), a lamb Birrea taco ($6) and a soft crab taco ($12).
The food and service were good. I was expecting a less formal Mexican place with good food and lower prices. This place was hip, and not cheap. But the food was good, and I had no problem with the prices.
I enjoyed the food, all dishes were good!
Bill was over $60, with tip, $70 for 2 people.
Check it out!
