Best WLM Reviews
Outstanding fine Italian dining located at Casa Ludovico. Bit of romance, as well as comfort food, make it a "must visit" location. Limited seating at the bar, two dining rooms of a converted house; main floor and upstairs seating.
Valet parking and a ♿️ handicap entrance with a ramp, provides a covenient access.
Good portions and flavorful food made for a delightful outing. Kudos to Rick, manager, and Cara, our fabulous bartender, for their kind attention.
Our family had a fabulous dinner here. Everything was so wonderful we all tried each others. The pasta was homemade , all of the sauces were superb. I had the grilled octopus and finocchetti in a mushroom cream sauce. If you want an authentic Italian meal, this is the place to go.
Homemade Traditional Italian Cuisine.. Made Reservations, Seated as soon as we arrived. Atmosphere Victorian house turned into a wonderful pleasant experience. ????????????
Chargrilled octopus appetizer and a thick, tender, juicy veal chop smothered in a cream brandy sauce with mushrooms. Outstanding.
Service felt rushed but they slowed it down when I asked. Tabletop for 4 was quite cramped and the tables/chairs are a bit crammed in.
3 years I've been coming here now. Can't believe I've never left a review. Rick is always making sure we are treated like family. Every time, seriously, every time this place impresses me. The octopus appetizer is the best I've ever had. Tonight, we had the seafood bowl, was amazing. Try the veal. Service is always great. From the valet, to dessert this place does it right. Don't skip dessert. We love this place. A++
I've been to this restaurant before. It's really interesting because it's in an old renovated house from the 20s. However the food I found in my experience was fair. It's pretty pricey. I had a party of 10 people and they served us upstairs of course because downstairs there's no room. That was fine. There were other large parties upstairs. It was chaotic for sure. The staff is great. They work really hard and aim to please. The reservation process was not the greatest with confusion getting the date straight and confirming. There's just too many people crammed in the restaurant for Dinner upstairs and downstairs. It's very loud and chaotic. I definitely can say I was not as impressed as I had been before.
Absolute horrible experience. This is far from fine dining.
I have never had to shout while sitting next to my date. It was like sitting in a cafeteria at elementary school, extremely loud and extremely uncomfortable.
I asked for a more private booth and was told. I was given a table. We were not given the option to wait for a booth or something more private upstairs.
There were 10 tables totaling 40 people in an area that should have had only 5 tables. It is extremely embarrassing trying to shout next to not even across the table to your date.
A jack and coke is twelve dollars, These basic drinks should not be overpriced this way as a bottle of jack is only nineteen.
The food was good and the service was good as well.
There is no parking, so you are forced to use their Valet. There is a sign that says it is complimentary, but how do you not feel forced into tipping.
Fine italian dining is nothing like this. This was a horrible date experience which was supposed to be a nice romantic intimate setting.
Stay as far away as possible unless you are the type that enjoys screaming while eating. Because you can't hear the person next to you.
I was so excited to try this place for our first year wedding anniversary, but sadly was very disappointed. The food was fine, but not great (especially for the price point). The atmosphere is nothing special at all. (And you feel a bit crammed in.)
I had noted it was our anniversary dinner in the reservation but there was no mention or attempt to do anything special. Rather, we were basically rushed through our meal. They literally took my dinner plate away before I had even taken my last bite. They had us out of the table in less than an hour. Generally speaking, I wouldn’t complain about fast service, but this was rushed and on the one night we really wanted to relax and enjoy a lingering meal and each other’s company. I would definitely not come back for a special occasion. Maybe one day for a glass of wine at the bar, but probably not for food as I did not feel the quality met the price.
