Food was truly amazing, flavor ofvthe Carnitas was wonderful, along with the house hot sauce(perfect spice and flavor) Waitress (Mia) was on it with drink refills and making sure things were good!! I see why they are always full when we go by!! We WILL be back!!
Hands down the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had???? just wasted $60 on inedible food & Im not even a picky person. I mean if your not a fan of real Mexican food maybe this is the place for you… My enchiladas were filled with a thick rubbery mozzarella cheese & COVERED in a sauce that tastes like the mild from Taco Bell. Not to mention they topped it with a chunky clump of sour cream and a single slice of tomato that looked like it belonged on a burger???? I wish I would have taken a picture straight out the bag but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt & picked it off to taste the enchiladas. The Tacos De Carne Asada were also quite inedible, the tortillas were so soggy it fell apart just holding it & the meat was completely seasonless. I have literally never ate a restaurant where the food was this disgusting????The only thing I can say that tasted okay was the queso. If the owners see this.. I would love a refund!????
While traveling to visit a cousin in Marion Iowa, we went in just for drinks and conversation. What an amazing time we had! Staff was so friendly and ready to give us their undivided attention. This place felt like home! We stayed long after they usually closed, but we didn't even know what time they closed. No one asked us to leave and we all felt bad we had imposed on their time. WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!
GLORIA Murphy. (Great first name right?)
The CR area is filled with Mexican restaurants yet its hard to find a good one. Hate giving bad reviews but this is just my honest opinion...People here seemed friendly but as we were sitting down our server came over and asked us what we wanted to drink, I haven't even touched a menu at this point my butt barley hit the seat. The chips were okay the salsa lacked a lot of flavor. Got a $16 "jumbo" margarita which truthfully wasn't that big but seemed to be never ending because it wasn't very good. The menu had interesting items on it a lot of them not being authentic Mexican food what so ever. We ended up just ordering cheese dip and leaving because there wasn't a lot of options on the menu and none of that sounded good. Our server never came back to fill up our chips or even finish checking us out. If you like this place thats great if you are craving actual Mexican food I'd recommend going else where.
Nice place, enjoyed the patio and great server. Food was fine American Mexican kind of food. Seems like more of a happy hour margaritas than a place I would want to have a full meal. Picture of nachos and side of guacamole. Banana and orange margaritas.
Casa is one of our favorites places to go! The food is great, prices are reasonable, service is friendly and accommodating. Comfortable atmosphere. I got to take some of my residents to Casa as well and everyone was so friendly and helpful!
Went to this place for the first time about a month ago after moving here last spring. First thing I noticed was all the flies everywhere. How does your restaurant have flies in the middle of December? I can only imagine how filthy the kitchen must be for that to happen. The food quality was mediocre at best, but the icing on the flan was the "convenience charge" on my credit card. Really, you're going to charge a fee to use my credit card instead of putting a crowbar in your wallet and paying for the annual membership yourself? My understanding is this is part of a family of restaurants in the area, and I won't be going to any of them if they're anything like this one.
I chose Las Glorias as our pre-movie dinner spot after seeing a picture of the enchilada sauce, and I’m sure glad I did. Being from California, I’m not the biggest fan of tomato-heavy enchilada sauces — but chile was the star here. Didn’t realize how constant the craving for this style of sauce has been until I took that first bite. Utterly delightful. Rice was flavorful and just the right consistency (though the addition of peas and carrots still throws me off). Refried beans were standard (could’ve been mashed a bit more but to each their own). Guac and salsa were lovely and fresh. Taco was tasty, but the shell was subpar (would’ve preferred an actual corn tortilla). The place was super busy on a Saturday night but the young staff were very fast and attentive. Also wheelchair accessible! Stopping in was definitely worth missing the first half of our movie. I’ll be back again and again.
