My wife and I finally got around to trying Casa Del Mare this weekend and we were mad at ourselves for not trying it sooner!
The moment we stepped into the restaurant we were transported back to Italy. This is the Italian restaurant we’ve been looking for since we arrived back in the U.S. from Italy about a year ago. The ambiance of the restaurant felt exactly like a quaint restaurant built into the Tuscan country side. From the upbeat, yet relaxing Italian music, to the paintings and pictures of Venice and Rome, this is as authentic as it gets. And, it’s in Ardmore, Oklahoma!
Okay, enough about the great atmosphere! How was the food, you ask? The food was surprisingly, and honestly, the closest tasting to actual Italian food in Italy as we have had in the U.S. That’s saying quite a bit because I travel for work and have eaten Italian food all over the United States!
We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and the Tortellini Alla Panna with Grilled Chicken. They were both delicious with the Tortellini being the slight better of the two! The only thing missing to complete the “Italian Experience” was a nice gelato for dessert! However, to be fair, they did offer a different authentic Italian dessert in the Limoncello Cake! Regardless, this was an absolutely great restaurant, and a hidden gem located off of I-35 in the heart of Southern Oklahoma!
We are really hoping the Ardmore community supports this place as this is as close to actual Italy as comes without the expensive plane ticket! Great job owners of Casa Del Mare and we look forward to our next visit!
Traveled to Oklahoma for work and stopped to eat here. We had a very pleasant experience with our server, and enjoyed the wonderful food. Taste was very delicious! I ate my food too quickly before I took a picture. Eggplant parmigiana was delicious, salad, and tiramisu ???? Highly recommend and will be stopping here again next time we are in Oklahoma.
Wonderful restaurant. Amazing quality food at a good price, luxury, top-notch ambience with a live pianist, and welcome service from the server/host. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana, and was not disappointed with the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend checking out Giovanni’s in Ardmore if you are in town.
The best restaurant in Ardmore Oklahoma hands down. The service is always exceptional and on point. Great atmosphere and if you catch it on the right days someone is playing piano. The food is amazing. We try something different every time we go and it's always cooked to perfection. Great romantic place as well. Take your wife out or take a date here anytime. Good wine as well.
Little weird for us because I went with a work buddy and it gives you a super romantic vibe being in there ????. But with that in mind it seems like a great place to take a date, stuff staff was exceptionally sweet and attentive to detail. Rolls were warm and soft, pasta came out super hot, calamari was cooked just perfectly. At the end of our meal they brought out a piece of cake for us to try and it was delicious.
We went to there on our anniversary dinner. It was our first visit. The pianist -old gentleman played very well, and the food was good. The pizza was all right. The best dishes I had on this meal is the Ardmore special, it was very good. The waitress is very friendly.. interesting thing is their light in the girls restroom was broken, I had to wash my hands in the darkness????. I managed well... glad I don't need to use their toilet there...

This is NOT an Italian Food Restaurant!
My wife and I were in town and looking for a cozy noncommercial, non-chain, locally owned restaurant to enjoy an evening together on our weekend getaway. I found this location and decided to visit because of the great reviews. To our surprise upon receiving our appetizer, we noticed that our food wasn't fresh. We tried the Bruschetta that should be broiled and should have cheese. It was neither! The Fried Mozzarella Sticks were indeed frozen and preheated. The server said everything was bought frozen and reheated. The Salad, was a Sad side salad made with iceberg lettuce and one slice of tomato and sprinkled shredded cheese. Then we received our entrées and then realized that none of our food was fresh. The chicken from the Chicken Parmesan was in fact frozen chicken that was all preheated in a microwave. The pasta on the Chicken Parmesan was descent. The chicken on my wife's Chicken Alfredo was also store-baught microwave preheated chicken. The pasta was overcooked, mushy, and bland. Being one of the few "Italian" food restaurants, we thought everything would be made fresh to order. But it wasn't!
I ate some of my meal and my wife barely touched hers. We still paid for the meal.
To make matters worse and add insult to injury, we found out later that night when I was checking my credit card, I discovered that either the owner or one of the employees charged me an extra $7 to my ticket. It's not the $7 charge, it's the fact that they took the liberty to make an unauthorized charge to my card. They had already given me my receipt with a total amount. This is in fact, stealing! I never authorized the extra charge! It dissappoints me that they would stoop that low to take money from their customers without proper authorization. Please double-check your receipt and your financial institution for any unauthorized charges.
We decided on this place by chance after multiple other restaurants were closed on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised! Our server was excellent, the food was DELICIOUS and authentic, and it came out very fast! Highly recommend!!
