Don’t waste your time coming here. The food is subpar and the service is about the same!
My family and I came here for the first time and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Let’s talk about the food first. We ordered the elote, chicken quesadilla, clauses and carne asada dinner. The elote had hot Cheetos crushed on top even though I specifically asked for it not to be put on it because it was for a child. The carne asada was cooked well done even though we asked for it to be medium rare and the meat inside the flautas were RAW (see pics). The only thing decent there was the homemade horchata and $5 margaritas. The server was extremely slow in checking if we needed anything. She never refilled our drinks even though they ALL were empty, she didn’t check on us after the runner delivered our food until we called for her. When she came we asked for silverware, to which she forgot to come back and bring and we ended up having to ask another server to assist us. This place is NOT worth the money or time
We really enjoy coming here especially given the limited decent dine in options in this area of the South Suburbs. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are always delicious. I'm a french fry fanatic and the loaded fries are by far some of the best I've had (sorry the photo is half eaten ????).
Me and the hubby hadn’t been here since the opening. We were so glad we came. Come off hours where you can get first class treatment. The food was really good. The tacos are like street taco but they are so good. The staff is friendly and will help you with drink options and food Selection. Sherlyn was the best. Wonderful with selections and willing to help you try new things with her suggestions. But her conversation at the bar was the best. Had a great time.
I would like to start off by saying it was excited to try this restaurant I when in for a work lunch. MANAGEMENT is TERRIBLE! They do not hear customers out they brought me cheese Quesadilla when I ordered chicken, I ate one after realizing they did not make my order over but took my cold old quesadillas to the back, touched and opened my quesadillas and added chicken inside of them and brought them back to the table. Staring that’s all they could do. I ignored it and ordered a pinapple Jarrito and was brought a mango did not apologize and did not see their wrong in anything. I was not offered a discount and they were not willing to take anything off of the bill for the confusion, mistakes and for me being unsatisfied. They were not understanding at all and do not accommodate their customers at all! Like a regular restaurant.
I will not be coming back. I left unhappy and still gave my hard earned money to these people.
So this is a review for their mobile tacos. My work Galaxy Labs/Dispensary had a 4/20 event and this place was giving purchasing customers free tacos. I had one of each steak and chicken option of cilantro and onions... which I had. My boyfriend is a HUGE steak person with Mexican food. He blew me away when i heard him say he liked the chicken taco better! The man and woman that were working were friendly and nice.
A group of us after work will be going to the restaurant for our little Cinco De Mayo get together. I will write another review after trying more.
The food was amazing. My favorite is the shrimp tacos and THE BEANS. these are honestly the best beans I ever had. The service was great. I was greeted and sat right away upon arrival. I love the atmosphere here as well. The manager imen was very friendly and gave me great suggestions on what to order. I will definitely be retuning here
I've been here twice now. The first time was a little bit better. I think it depends on who's working. The food is pretty good. I have my own particular things I would like to see differently with the food but overall it's very good and reasonably portioned. The service has been kind of lackluster sadly... At least in my experience once the food was delivered the waiter never came back to check for refills or even to give me the check. I had to ask for it, 45 minutes later. They include a 18% automatic gratuity even if it's only one person which good for them I guess I just wasn't expecting it. I'd still definitely recommend this place as there aren't many other good Mexican restaurants in the area.
Tinga tacos are amazingly tasty. Steak bowl delicious very tender steak. Pineapple margarita was great. Actually 4.5 stars the only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they still have to work on the waiting time. Our waitress checked on us after she bought the food but it will be better if she did it while we were waiting for the food. Probably we will order another drink if she did.
