We had traveled from Cali to CO and had taken a road trip to go whitewater rafting, after which we were so hungry! Casa Blanca boasted authentic food as well as great service! The place is smallish in size and has a homey atmosphere. The chips and salsa were great and hit the spot!!!
The food is served fast and hot! We easily ordered a little more than we could eat even as hungry as we were! The red and green sauces are very flavorful but don't overpower the taste of the dishes we ordered. I didn't even get photos of all the food we ordered as my family chowed down!
Definitely worth a visit!
A great local Mexican place for the kids and family. Love comming here with my two boys! For less than 5bucks per child you can have them both fed! Fairest pricing in town and for the food for the price, you can't beat it
HORRID customer service and the food was subpar. I hate writing reviews like this but I work customer service and run my own bar. You never talk to anyone the way this lady talks to her customers. I also found a hair in my food but didn’t want to argue any more. Yeah the customer isn’t always right but if you screw up someones order, fix it. That’s the business we’re in. Making people happy. Support the other businesses in this town instead.
What a gem! We found it as we entered Leadville after running Mosquito Pass from East to West. It was the perfect lunch after being on the trail. The house the restaurant is in is very charming and the woman that was working working was lovely. The food was great and the locals were very friendly and happy to chat up us tourists. We'll certainly be back the next time we're in town!
Casa Blanca is the BEST restaurant in Leadville! It has been in the same family for many years, making it so consistent. I eat here at least twice a week, and I have never once been disappointed. I promise, best Mexican food you'll find! I recommend the stuffed sopapilla! ???? also, best Mexican rice!!!
Probably the nicest folks in town. The Leadville food scene is very hit or miss and Casa Blanca is a go to for most of us who live here in Leadville. They are cash only and they offer an ATM on site.

Quiet lil spot we discovered driving back to New Mexico from summit county. Waitress was awesome. The food was welcomed. Red chile tasted like it does back in New mexico. You guys killed it
What a great place. I always feel like I'm going to my friends' house for dinner. Great people, great service and great food. You won't be disappointed.
