We are from Maine and were staying at a hotel in Flat Rock for our son's wedding. We had a gas line leak, and we called mechanics in the area and they all said it would be the next week before they would even look at it. We were praying for an answer, and called CarStarz, and they said to come in right then! They found the problem within minutes and gave all 6 of us a ride back to our hotel! They had our vehicle fixed before check out time for a reasonable price, and they offered to pick us up. They were our answered prayer! They are very professional, great bunch of guys, and a true example of Southern hospitality! Highly recommend!
It's really awesome to once again come across an honest and fair auto shop. Just had my 2014 Focus serviced there and was very satisfied with the whole process from the text quotes, the check-in, check-out and friendliness of the staff. Several of our family members also use this shop and have nothing but good things to say about it. Highly recommend!!!
Was traveling through from TN to FL - (very long story) but broke down close to the shop. It was a Sunday night, we stayed in a hotel down the street and after a few calls we found Street's Automotive. They agreed to see/check the car that day (other shops said a week minimum before they could even check it). I knew what the issue was already, but I couldn't fix it as I didn't have any tools. I drove it to the shop and they were above and beyond any shop I have been too, and I have friends that own shops in Miami. The gave me the estimate and said they could fix it that same day. I gave them the go ahead and they fixed it and took care of my truck like it was theirs. It was unfortunate to say the least that I broke down, but it couldn't have happened in a better place. Thank you guys again!
Best car repair shop I have ever been to. And I have been to a lot. The staff, the facility, and the professional and courteous atmosphere is the best in the business. I just wish I lived closer!

We had a repair done for my daughter's kia soul. We picked it up and as she drove away I heard a large rattling sound. They forgot to put the engine cover back on! I let it go, and had my car repaired there. They fixed the thermostat, which took several days due to a part missing from the new one they recieved. When I got it back my heat didn't work. They forgot to "burp" the line. We fixes that at home. Last chance, we had my daughter's car towed there. They said her engine was blown. When she spoke to them to tell them she was picking it up she was told she owed $109 for a diagnostic. I could have overlooked, yet they did not tell us this needed to be done or that she would be charged at all. I called to let them know this would be the last time any of us did service with them and hung up. They called me back 2xs to talk, after a conversation, he only charged her $54. We had the car towed home after a few days. The hood was taken off and nothing was put back together. Screws were laying there, spark plugs can be seen laying inside the engine compartment. Her fuse box cover was thrown in the back seat. We have pictures and video. Its as if the hood was just slammed on and is jamemed. They were informed a few days ahead of time the car was being towed home. They had time to put it back together. I don't know if they were being malicious (due to our conversation) or if it was incompetence as before. Nonetheless, DO NOT take your vehicle there. I gave them three different chances. Each were worse than the next. I watched my child stand in the yard bawling over this. She works hard (as we all do) graduated college in May and is trying to start her life. To treat long term customers like this is beyond comprehension. Is there anywhere for negative stars? My next step is to report them to the BBB. I work with the community and I will warn any and all who ask me about mechanics in the area. I'm doing you guys a favor, listen to me, these are not the people you want working on your vehicle. Take it somewhere else!
Absolutely great service ! Very willing to fix any issues going on with your vehicle ! They fixed my jeep in a super timely manner and it’s perfect it runs better than ever , definitely gonna stick with them for anymore car work ! I think it’s the best car service in town . It’s been the best car shop choice I’ve made .
I drive 30 minutes to get here from South Asheville to have my van serviced due to their professionalism and honest and fair pricing.
