Bought a great car 7 years ago still running top shape
What a waste of time… I should have known driving up to this place. No cars on the lot for sale and only one car in the 2 bay garage. I scheduled my repair after Doc’s week+ vacation. I figured he would be well rested. Brought it in early Tuesday for repair as requested. Everyday that week he said he was going to start on it (half day job). Came by Saturday, still not touched. Had to borrow a car, promise favors for the use, and then ultimately not have my car fixed. To have my car sitting for 5 days is absolutely ridiculous. Recommendation: As a one man garage don’t give a time frame if you can’t make it happen, and try communicating. He never called me for an update. I ended up taking my vehicle to the dealer. It will end up costing me $25 more than his quote. If I would have known it was such a little difference I would not have tried this guy. Obviously, I won’t be back.
Very accommodating, I highly recommend this place for inspections and auto work.
Owner Lou Campisi and his lackey Rick Campisi are masterful rip-off artists. I would never go back there even for a spark plug. They have ripped off so many people they had to change their name from Campisi Auto to Carriage Auto and may be moving soon.
