Nice atmosphere, great service, and friendly staff. I had my first appointment at Aspen Grove today for cut and color and I am so happy with the results! I went to Jessica and she did an amazing job with everything. It was the first time I have tried highlighting with the balayage technique and I love it! The products used were high quality and the shampoo/condition treatment was very well done. I will absolutely be returning for follow on appointments with Jessica and highly recommend her as a stylist and the salon in general.
I absolutely loved my experience at Aspen Grove Salon! Jessica was fantastic! She gave me an incredible cut and color and was so informative and helpful, letting me know exactly which products would be best for the money and taught me what she was doing while she styled my hair. I know other stylists do the same, but Jessica was fully present, incredibly knowledgable, down to earth and so kind to me during the whole experience. The salon had a relaxed and professional vibe too and felt so comfortable to spend time in. There was no pretense and so much caring from all the people who work there. The shampoo room is phenomenal as well. I felt like a million bucks leaving the salon and happily booked my next appointment. I highly recommend Aspen Grove Salon.
Aspen Grove Salon was great! The environment was relaxing and inviting. My stylist, Danielle Jones is wonderful! She has been cutting my hair for many years and I highly recommend her! She is very skilled at helping you find a cut that both suites you and that you can easily do at home. She is a true artist when sculpting hair!

I have stylist hopped for years, but no more! I love this place so much! Besides being a very clean, stylish, and comfortable environment, every single person in the salon is friendly and talented. "Z" is my gal, but every person's hair looked fabulous as they left! Also, I LOVE being able to book online and getting a text confirmation two days before sets this place apart! The products they use are the best, as well. Their prices are on par with every salon in Castle Rock, if not less expensive. Aspen Grove does not disappoint!
I Love Aspen Grove Salon, I have just relocated to Colorado from Texas and I was so worried about finding a great place to take care of my hair. After reading reviews I chose Aspen Grove and specifically Caroline and I could not be happier with my choice! My hair looks amazing and Caroline did a wonderful job helping me choose(I had no idea what I wanted) how I wanted my hair cut. This is a wonderful salon so I recommend you go and I can tell you from my experience that Caroline is amazing!
I just visited this salon for the first time and had the pleasure of letting Mary Anne cut my hair and it was by far one of the best I have ever received. She was not only polite, friendly and personable, but she knows how to cut men's hair! She explained the hair cut and any style changes as she did them, and I left there feeling like a different person. She gave me the level of hair cut that just makes you feel so good about yourself! If you want to look and feel like the best you, definitely go see her.
Beyond just Mary Anne, the staff and the atmosphere were beyond inviting. The woodsy design of every piece of furniture truly made me feel at home and at ease. The shampoo room is so comfortable, with dimmed lights, a closed door, and tranquil music. Not only is the Salon beautiful, but it's located with a perfect view of the castle rock.
Its unfortunate that not many people know about Aspen Grove salon due to its seclusion because it is the best salon in Castle Rock. I love the cozy atmosphere, clean setup, and comfortable furniture. They are experts at using natural products and Edward Scissor hands with the Sheers. All of the stylists are skilled and friendly but I am personally in love with Chelsea James, she is beautiful and incredibly talented at everything from wax to color. I remember the first time I went in I was amazed how gently she was with my sensitive scalp, I had never experienced that before with other salons. I have seen her correct hair coloring with the natural products that were impossible to fix with harsh chemicals. Her makeup application is even guaranteed to be better than you can do on yourself. Its amazing that she charges the least at the salon. She "specializes" in long blond hair but I believe her specialty is everything. So if want the best cosmetic treatment of your life I would certainly suggest you check out the Aspen Grove Salon.
My Daughter went to this salon 3 times each equals 6 times with the same hair dresser. We both wanted lo and hi lights. I have been getting my hair professionally done for 35 years, and our first experience was fine, thought is was rude though he owner just ignores you and doesn't acknowledge new customers. The second time we both asked for low and high lites and we both came out with the high lites 2 inches from our dark brown roots. When I contacted the owner and the stylist I was told you have to ask for your roots and gray to be done as an addition step and fee. Now I have never had to ask a hair dresser when they did pale blond hi-lites to include my roots! Who would want 2 inches of dark brown and grey to show! Contacted the owner again and the stylist and told to come back in and get the roots done, waited for 6 weeks decided to wait and get it all done again, thinking this would be at no additional charge or some type of compensation I was charged $145.00 and the stylist did all my roots with the same color thinking it would blend so she used some color in between dark brown and brown on both my daughter and I and now we had this weird orange roots with dark and blond hi lights. I spoke to the owner again and told her most hair stylists would do the blond roots with blond and the dark roots with brown, isn't that the normal way? The owner replied after 3 times that I have to ask for these specific processes! Specific processes? This is a normal way an entry level stylist should do your hair and if I have to tell her what to do step by step than what am I paying for? After many conversations with Christine the owner, she never once offered to comp us, So with 6 visits and a over $30-35.00 tip we spent over 1000.00, never a followup from the stylist, apology or compensation, from the owner, we will never return. Keep in mind reviews on their home site lists only compliments not complaints, and I think they thrive on first time people who never return.
