Wow, what an incredible dining experience! We decided to visit this restaurant later at night, and we were blown away by the exceptional service we received, even at that hour. Our waitress, Courtney, truly made the whole experience unforgettable.
From the moment we walked in, Courtney greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she expertly guided us through the options, making fantastic recommendations along the way.
Not only was Courtney attentive and efficient, but her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her job shone through. She made us feel like valued guests, and her positive energy was contagious. She was always there when we needed her, and she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask.
The food itself was absolutely delicious. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, and Courtney ensured that everything was served promptly and at the perfect temperature. She made sure our glasses were never empty and checked in on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meals.
Overall, our experience at this restaurant was top-notch, thanks in large part to Courtney. Her exceptional service and friendly demeanor truly made our night memorable. We left feeling satisfied, impressed, and grateful for such a wonderful dining experience. We can't wait to come back and enjoy another incredible meal with Courtney as our waitress. Highly recommended! ????
We've visited this location several times & they have always provided consistent good service. The food was great, atmosphere great & our server Gloria was awesome! Would definitely recommend this location.
A friend & I stopped by the Carolina Ale House after shopping at the mall nearby. Initially, it felt like one of the better options to catch the college basketball game & after dining in, the amount of TVs is perfect for any game day. The food overall was okay. For an appetizer, we ordered the cheese curds. The curd itself was good, but the batter was strange. It felt like it was more for seafood than cheese curds, but someone else may like that batter better. The sauce that came with the cheese curds was unique & seemed to be more like a cocktail sauce. We tried to order certain beers, but they were out of them. The waitress was kind enough to bring a list of what they had & it seemed like more than half of the draft beers weren't available, but we found beers that we were okay with getting. For dinner, I got the Philly cheesesteak. The flavor of the sandwich & fries overall was enjoyable, so I recommend it as an option. My friend who joined got the breakfast burger, which he enjoyed as well. The bathrooms could use a lot of work. They had a sewer odor, which was intense. The bathrooms looked outdated overall with the paper towel dispenser broken & the soap dispenser dirty. The toilets were in need of a cleaning as well. The staff was friendly & seemed very pleasant. Overall, I'd be open on coming back to watch live sporting events in hopes of a full draft selection.
Stopped here after a long day at Great Wolf Lodge. The hostesses were very polite, and our server, Elizabeth, was amazing. We had a great meal, a big slice of cake, and a much needed respite from the chaos of vacation.
There was very sub par service coming from this place tonight. The people up front were nice and got a table in a reasonable manner. It did take about 10 minutes to get a waiter to take our order. The place was less than half capacity with plenty of people working. I did not get the name of my waitress, but when I received my order I noticed the lettuce on my burger was black towards the edge (possibly mold). She also forgot the ranch me and my buddy requested with our meals. I mentioned this to the waitress and she took my food and walked to the front. Then proceeds back to the kitchen to have them remake it. About 10 minutes after waiting she comes out and tells me they are remaking the burger. The waitress then gives a lousy reason on what was wrong with the burger. She says it was because of the light it sat under caused it to wilt. The remade burger did come out after 15 minutes, it tasted great and she brought the ranch with it. But her attitude when she brought the food back out was not professional. She sounded and looked annoyed for doing her job. I complimented the burger for being good. But her service was not good at all thus she did not get a tip. After paying she notices this and rolls her eyes at me and says is everything alright? I did not give the waitress an answer and walked out. Why should I tip someone if their service was sub par at best? The waitress I dealt with tonight needs to work on being more professional and welcoming. Also communicate with tables better, I had difficulty hearing what she was saying.
We had a great dinner at Carolina Ale House! Brandon provided top notch service and we could not have had a better experience. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back!
From the moment we entered the restaurant we felt welcomed and like we had known the two hostesses' forever. We were there on 9/21/23 for lunch. I didn't get their names, but wish I had the one girl had long braided hair with red in it. They were both so cute, friendly and helpful. We got fountain drinks and a Porch Punch...whoooohoooo that drink is strong and fantastically tasty! I got the sourdough patty melt with beer battered fries, my husband got the varsity burger, our daughter the buffalo chicken sandwich minus the buffalo and our son the salmon. Everything arrived promptly and delicious. Our drinks never emptied, and service was top notch. Loved the atmosphere and decor. Great experience!
Second visit on 9/30/23 in the evening. Our server was Emelie. She disappeared for a while. Wasn't very friendly. Food was great! Service was not.
Perfect place for when you're wanting some good ol' American/Bar style food. The spinach dip should be award winning!
