My Lord have mercy, when I tell you these are the best biscuits n gravy I’ve had since visiting my grandparents in Blue Ridge I’m not lying. and the country fried steak was crispy, tender, well seasoned and I need another one right now.
I’ve had every diner in Marietta, Carol’s Cafe is hands down our favorite. Also it’s family owned and operated, the staff is the friendliest and makes sure you know they appreciate your business.
Thanks to everyone at Carol’s for giving us our everyday neighborhood diner spot.
Skip the other places and come here. This place is “down home” and been around forever because they have great food and treat you like family. It’s the kind of place I’ve been searching for that rarely exists now (anywhere near the city). Don’t let the outside or atmosphere fool you. You will walk away full and happy. And the menu selection is fantastic. Good southern food “meat & 3” at a reasonable price. Breakfast all day. Come stop in
Do you wish for an expanded menu at waffle house? Come to Carol's. Been here since the 1960's. It sits in a large strip mall parking lot, so parking is a breeze.
When you think Café Food, Carol's is your place that you want to go. It's a wonderful little hole in the hall restaurant but they are worth your time to check out. My partner and I go there every so often when we want Café style food because we know what we are getting with Carol's and thats a good meal and awesome service. I love their chicken fried steak and my partner loves their hamburger steak. My partner and I have been to many of steak houses where she's ordered her steaks medium rare and they all have come medium well, every time she orders her hamburger steak at Carol's it's come out medium rare every single time.
I'm big on consistency and Carol's has hit that mark every time.
I would suggest checking them out. And as always be kind to the staff at any restaurant you go to they're hard workers like you and me.
This is a no nonsense sort of place and it was lovely. Don't go if you're looking for fancy ( the seats are worn and a bit frayed), but the service was friendly, the food was good, and the prices reasonable. ????
Waitress was very nice. Prices good for the portions. Traditional southern foods, not fancy setting, very casual. They have a drive up window too, I guess for pick up orders? Fried squash was super. They have a daily $4.99 special, one meat with two sides and bread.

Food is homemade and delicious, the service is wonderful and very friendly! We stumbled upon this place driving through the area and were blown away by the great food and service. The prices are great too!!
