30 minute wait to order. There is no table service. You have to go wait at the cash register to order. 30 minute wait for drinks (beer and a pineapple juice) and then 45 minutes for food. They were out of lemons and limes which is crucial for a Picadera food plate and my modelo beer. Really GHETTO with the slot machines in the middle of the dinning room.
I was running errands around there from another state and looking for a place to eat with my lil family i found this restaurant and let me tell ya it was soooo delicious we bought pollo con tajadas and the amount was sooo generous that my husband was so satisfied, in another hand my son ate empanadas de pizza and they were tasty as well, but me well i ordered mofongo that was my first time eating it and it was another level of taste I am glad I ordered because maaan I fell in love ???????? es sabrosoooo ricooo delicioso!!!! I truly recommend this place 100% and the prices are affordable soo yeah you need to go there dont hesitate you wont regret it ????????❤️ i almost forget we ordered chinola y agua de tamarindo omg!!! They were so good!! Posdata: cada bocado era un mmmm???? mmmmm???? esto esta ricooo!!! Espero volver pronto a este lugar. Lastima no estar cerca.
When I tell you this food was AMAZING, please believe me! My boyfriend and I went here last night for a late night bite (their late hours are a plus!) and we were not disappointed! Simon helped us, he was great; answered all our questions and was very nice. My boyfriend got the chicken chimi sandwich, and he literally made some kind of noise after every bite lol. I got steak tacos, and we both got an assortment of empanadas, which were all also amazing. No complaints on anything. This place is definitely going into our rotation of local faves. I wish I had taken a picture but once we had those first bites, it was over from there.
Great food at an awesome price. This is our new place to eat Dominican food! I loved their tres golpes.
This is a Dominican spot that feels like home. Nothing fancy, wait time is just right for the food, the fact that they ran out of something just tells me they are killing it in the kitchen (per usual) Anytime someone is in town, I bring them here as tradition and we always have a great time, and if you know a typical Dominican spot, this restaurant exceeds expectations. Thank you Carmen and staff, you are truly appreciated!!!!
I live in the area so coming here late night is dope . I’ve been coming here for years . However, i came in recently , and it was a new cashier (not the male cashier) . She didn’t greet me , didn’t ask me if i wanted something to drink , or even ask if i was ready to pay . She just dismissed me by talking to a customer behind me . Once my food was done , i asked for more ketchup instead of the two packets they provided . She kept trying to tell me two packets are enough for ME which i had to repeatedly tell her i need more. I checked my food but when i bit into it … it wasn’t the protein i chose. Not only was she rude , gave me hell about a couple more ketchup packets, but she also got my order wrong. Good thing i stay in the area and was able to get it corrected (she was still rude when i got back). This was my first unpleasant experience here and i hope it don’t happen again.
I tried their fried chicken twice… both times it was the bomb! Today I tried the food from the hot bar…. Pork chops, rice, pigeon peas, salad…. ALL GOOD! They give you enough for 2 people! I’ll be back!
Ohh man where do I start, great service, great seasoning, well cooked food, great presentation I would definitely recommend this place
