Carmen’s is the Mexican restaurant that Fairfax has needed. Ordering to go is very fast and easy, and so is having a sit down meal. Food is delicious and portions are great. Overall, a great restaurant with very respectful and nice staff, food comes out fast and very delicious.
Another review here complains about being called "boss" too many times - in my opinion - that would have only elevated the experience. Great burritos, great horchata, fair pricing, and overall solid meal. 9.5/10, but would be a 10/10 if I got called "boss."

Exciting to have a solid burrito spot back in Fairfax. Nice staff, clean and inviting restaurant, great value, and delicious food. Make sure to ask for the habanero salsa if you like heat!

I've tried the one in Novato the food is the best I decided to come here at exactly 8:33 pm and doors locked

Food was honestly pretty good, and service was great. My only complaint regarding the food is that my burrito had barely any guacamole and it was all at the bottom. And by the time I got to the bottom I was full. But other than that the steak was really good in my burrito and the people working here are very nice. Also I had this purple lemonadey drink.
Best tacos in Marin and its not even close. Dont be put off by the unpretentious exterior, Carmens food is excellent.
