My dining experience at Carlyle was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was inviting.
I started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying sauce added a delightful tanginess that elevated the dish to another level.
For the main course, I opted for the pecan-crusted trout, and it did not disappoint. The fish was cooked to perfection, with the pecan crust adding a delightful crunch and nutty flavor. The dish was beautifully presented and paired wonderfully with the sides.
Overall, Carlyle exceeded my expectations with its outstanding service and delicious food. It's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
We stopped here while on the road back home and glad we did. They had 2 brunch specials and we got 1 of each. The salmon brunch dish was very flavorful and the steak benedict was amazing. Steak was tender and the flavor was great.
Our server was Zach and we were so impressed by him. Very polite, attentive and helpful. We will definitely return.
Liked it better when it was Carlyle Grand, but even if it's no longer "grand", it's still pretty good! Much of the same menu as Coastal Flats and Mike's, so if you like those places, you'll enjoy the offerings here, as well---but they don't serve Ozzy rolls at Carlyle, so keep that in mind! As with other GAR restaurants, the hostess check-in experience has declined, but this may have to do with the overall trends in the industry.
We were seated immediately and were quickly greeted and given waters. Our food came out unexpectedly fast after ordering- just a few minutes. It was almost too hot to eat! French dip sandwich was delicious loved the bold flavor of the au jus. Fries were perfectly salted. Servers were nice and attentive. Would 1000% come back!
The atmosphere was amazing here. Beautifully done. Whether you're going for a date or just to get together with friends, you'll enjoy this restaurant. Everything we got was serve to perfection to our table and our waiter was super attentive even though the restaurant was almost full. Excellent excellent food and drinks!!!! MUST TRY!!!!
We celebrated a birthday!!! Lovely atmosphere a lil tough to find parking close by. The food was very tasty. Our waitress was prompt, attentive, and on top of her game. This place has been around for many many decades one of my late mother’s favorites establishments. Thanks Christina for the great service.
The steak was cooked very well and the soup was ok. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Cauliflower mashed. It tasted like Aladdin got it out the cave of wonders. Service wasn't great though. I'll give it another shot.
Really great American grill. The deviled eggs were so delicious. We liked their old fashioned, grilled chicken salad and fish tacos.
