Beyond friendly and helpful in ordering. Made great suggestions to what we wanted. Definitely will go back. The price was less than what you got in service and taste at this amazing, spacious mexican authentic restaurant and dining room. So hungry and food came so fast I forgot to take a picture of it, heheh, but I did get a nice one of the fresh coke out a bottle they had!
We have eaten here many times. This time we were a group of 8 people (4 couples). Had reservations, our table was ready for us. We started with chips and salsa, and cocktails, waitress didn't start with a ticket for each couple. The salsa was thin, and they had no draft beer ????. When we ordered our meals, waitress asked how many tickets and took orders by couples. One person ordered guacamole on a bed of lettuce and got a plate of lettuce with guacamole mixed in (weird). As for the food, it took a long time to get.
Shrimp in several dishes was smaller than expected, bacon wrapped shrimp was overcooked. Two ordered soup and had a lot left, one got a to go cup that was way too small while the other got an adequate big cup. Then the check came, not divided by couple, and we were told to just split the check because the guy that could split it up was busy ????. We will probably try somewhere else next time...
One more note. They have changed from round plastic tortilla keepers that stack on the table, to wood boxes with a raised handle, very clunky and odd.
This Mexican restaurant is amazing! Their service is outstanding, so friendly and fun! Everything coming out of the kitchen smells so good! Some plates are still frying and sizzling when they hit the table. The drinks were great, I would definitely recommend trying Carlitos out!
What a great surprise this restaurant is once you get thru the doors!! All our meals were excellent!! It was so great to get an amazing frozen margaritas you could actually taste some tequila in! So good! Our waitress and staff were very friendly and accommodating! The decor in this restaurant is beautiful, authentic, colorful and comfortable.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when we tucked into this place.
I was impressed with it's size and layout! I could see why it would be a popular sports bar.
The service was pretty quick and responsive. We had fresh baked chips to go with salsa.
The food was... Interesting. Half pur party got the pollo loco special, which had chicken topped with American cheese. Seemed like an odd choice, but I'm a little picky with my Mexican food. I chose a vegetarian burrito, and I was satisfied with the veggies added to a beans and rice burrito.
Enchiladas lunch special was $10 and was a clear "10." Several beers on tap. Wait staff were attentive and very friendly! First time here and will return even though we live in Redding!
For a Friday after the lunch time rush, the service was poor, but the food was good. Chips and salsa were great, but then the waitress gave us the food, we asked for more napkins and she offer to bring us more salsa. Never saw her again until the end when it was time for us to pay. She had a few other people to wait on, but it was as if she was avoiding us. Probably won't be back. There are other choices that are better in my opinion. 3 stars only because of the food, service needs help-
The chicken enchiladas in the center, beans on right, rice on left. A full plate and hot, melted cheese on beans, I asked for a bunch of onions to put on all the food. The chips and salsa and iced water were good. All well worth my time. A very good display. I took pictures. However, my phone wasn't cooperative.
