This is one of the nicest family restaurants I’ve been to in awhile. It is small, only a few tables, but they have a booming pizza and takeout business. We ate in. Their homemade meatlover’s lasagna was awesome. Tasty sauce. Plenty of melted cheese. Lots of meat! Baked perfectly and still bubbling when it was brought to the table. And the meal included a salad! The portion was wonderfully large. Think of a full sized pie tin on a large dinner plate. Talk about value! I had half for dinner and half for today’s lunch. Also, the little loaf of Italian bread was superb. The staff is very friendly and multitasking continually, but not so busy that they won’t check on you regarding how the food is or if you need your drink topped off. In any case, if you’re in Emmitsburg, this is a definite stop. If I’m back this way I will be definitely be stopping back. Now time to catch my flight. God bless!
Food took longer than we hoped BUT the quality and portions highly exceeded my expectations. The service and staff were friendly also welcoming.
What I love most about this place is you always get greeted with a smile and awesome service and they never disappoint and they have the sweetest delivery driver so if you order delivery always remember to tip every little bit helps ???? I highly recommend ????
The most accommodating and family friendly service! We stopped while travelling, thinking it would be a quick bite at a hole-in-the-wall pizza place. Well, we got incredible friendly service, delicious food, and a warm environment. It has indoor seating, a great accommodation for someone travelling, but it also appears like a thriving carry-out restaurant.
We’ve tried just about EVERY pizza place in a surrounding 30 mile radius and I have to say, Carleo’s is top notch!
Had to start by trying just a classic cheese pizza… my rule of thumb is if you can nail a cheese pizza then 9/10 your other food offerings are going to be top notch. Well Carleo’s NAILED it! Their sauce to cheese ratio is perfect, crust is crispy and you can’t beat the price!!

This place almost always busy. Growing up in Philly area, finding decent pizza and sandwiches elsewhere has always been challenging. Carleo's pizza is that mom and pop, made from scratch type of pizza shop that I keep coming back to, love their pizza and their sandwiches. Haven't disappointed yet!
I am not a picky person at all, but I draw the line when my food doesn’t taste like a food item. Meatballs taste like sawdust, lasagna tastes like soap, Alfredo tasted like cardboard. Pizza, subs, salads ???? pasta is horrendously disappointing
The food is really good! The pizzas is really good. And they have a lot of food variety. The personal is really kind, and the place is clean.
