drove 30 mins to try this place just to waste my time. the macaroni is DISGUSTING and sweet (which is weird). and the cabbage.. yeah, NOT IT. I spent $37 on the 2 platters and ended up eating the oxtail (just because of the cost) and trashed the rest. the “stew chicken” tasted like dollar store watered down bbq sauce and the chicken was tough ????
We got takeout so don't have anything on the service or atmosphere but the food was fantastic and they give you a lot. Everyone got different dishes and they all tasted like a little bit of heaven. We couldn't stop eating even after we were stuffed. Give it a try.
Ya'll!! Run, don't walk to this restaurant!! Door Dash is an option to! My first experience was because of a recommendation from a trusted friend of the flavor expertise. I had the Curry Salmon, peas and rice, cabbage, and plantains. Even ordered back-to-back and got the mac the 2nd time. Get you some TODAY!!
I have visited this place many times and it has never disappointed. I drive across town to go here it's that good. I went here today and got (2) jerk salmon dinners one mild for me and one spicy for my husband. This place has the best jerk salmon in Jacksonville hands down! It is cooked to order. Every time I go here the food is fresh and seasoned just right. The portions are huge. The macaroni and cheese and the string beans are my go to sides and they are delicious as well. Here's a picture of my food after I had taken many bites. I couldn't wait to eat before taking the pic. I still have a lot left for tomorrow. I love this restaurant. Try it.
I'm truck driver I stop at this place to get me some good Jamaican foods, it was first time I did that, I don't know maybe it was on Sunday maybe they will chef, got drunk that was the replacement in the moment I went, around 12 pm on the afternoon, I get me an oxtail. It wasn't that good.
My second dish was the curry chicken with white rice.dish The rice wasn't cook. They use the cheap rice. My yellow rice tastes like a cheap Chinese fried rice. I spend almost $60 they're, ????
THIS IS NOT WHAT BROWN STEW SHOULD LOOK OR TASTE LIKE‼️ the gravy or sauce or whatever it was , was thin & oily. the chicken was dry. the rice was over cooked. I'm glad I only got a small & didn't waste too much money.

It was Sunday and I didn’t feel like cooking so i googled a few Caribbean Restaurants. I was on
my way to a closer one when I saw pics of this restaurants food. I called the restaurant and placed my order, the lady who helped me was so sweet and informative.The food was so flavorful! Big portions, it was DELICIOUS!!!
Ordered a large rice and peas instead was given a small because I didn’t get a side! My rice and peas were extremely DRY and I got maybe 4-5 oxtails that were tough! I’m very disappointed I’ll definitely stick to what I’m use to from now on
