This place is a hidden gem! You definitely need to come in. Their food is authentic. Everything about the place is amazing. Including the staff. The food is always so flavorful of the staff is amazing. I have never been to a better place than here. The portions will not disappoint.
Don’t waste your money here!! Horrible customer service..and the food is garbage! The lady at the window taking orders needs to find another job that serves her because obviously this ain’t it. She’s extremely unprofessional and has a very nasty attitude to be a working at restaurant taking orders from people. Everyone that walked in to take an order she had a problem with. And please don’t touch ”Her” cc machine she’ll go crazy smh.. The food is overly seasoned and just thrown together and all I had was nachos and a taco I mean how can u mess that up ????????♀️ Just please shut down already and stop taking ppl hard earned money for trashy food.
This restaurant has horrible customer service and unappetizing food. I ordered a 1/2 dark jerk chicken dinner with cabbage and plaintains for $22.04. They refused to give me a refund but offered to replace my order. I said, "No, thank you!" I will let the BBB assist me with my refund. This restaurant needs to be taught a lesson in customer service!
Chicken: I was given 2 full legs and some chopped up thighs, not equating to 2 full thighs. I was given a random small piece of breast and a random big piece of chicken skin.
Rice and Peas: They were flavorful/colorful but very salty.
Plaintains: They were good to taste, but texture was very ripe and very greasy.
Cabbage: It had good flavor but was a monochrome light green. Perhaps, they should consider adding some colored peppers or carrots
Most salty over-smoked Jerk Chicken I've ever had. ALMOST Every side (Plaintains, rice & peas) was overcooked and over salted. The only good side was the cabbage that was properly seasoned. Everything else is bad. If this establishment is not careful, someone is going to get a heart attack from overly salted food. Beware.
Hands down some of the best jerk in the city!!! I had curry chicken, he had jerk Turkey tips both were great! Had oxtail from here before Mac and cheese a lil oily but still delicious ???? plantain cabbage yams all delicious!!
I bought 70 dollars worth of nasty food from your restaurant. The wings were dry with black bones. The oxtails were too salty. The peach cobbler was the worst. It had a horrible smell and the dough hadn't been cooked to make a crust. I will never come back into your establishment. Your Jerk food is the worst.
The food was terrible. The fish tasted old and was over season. The plantains was hard and bitter. The Red beans and rice were salty. Twenty Eight dollars wasted.
Ordered the jerk chicken dinner with cabbage and mac n cheese. And my husband ordered the catfish dinner with mac n cheese and plantains, And a jerk chicken taco. The jerk chicken was good as well as the cabbage. The catfish was thin catfish steaks. Would have been better if it was catfish fillets. The catfish was not thick enough for all of the jerk seasoning it was overly covered in. The mac n cheese and red beans and rice were okay...nothing special. But surprisingly the jerk chicken taco was delicious. Normally when you think of a taco you think of it being on a tortilla but this taco is on pita bread which makes sense when you see the size of it. It's really a meal within itself. If I ever go back the jerk chicken taco is a must have!
