I have been using Car Masters for years now and just realized I have never left a review. They are hands down the best mechanics I have ever dealt with and the customer service is top notch. They always offer different options and allow me to make informed choices, which, as a non-car person, is invaluable. But also, I absolutely trust their assessments.

What prompted this review was that during the recent bad weather CM was hit by a tornado that demolished their shop. One of our cars was also damaged in the fray. Just completely unlucky. We already started preparing for a complete loss. However, behind the scenes, Michelle and team had done their best to clean the car out and make sure it was still taken care of. Long story short, even in a situation beyond their control int the most unluckiest of situations, they still found a way to make us whole. That means the world to me and my kid whose car it was. Thank you! And our thoughts go out to everyone at the shop that they can get back on their feet and doing great work again soon!

Took my car to a shop in Lexington and they told me my suspension was completely shot and all 4 tires were bad. Decided to get a second opinion and I'm so glad I chose Car Masters! Michelle and Tim were very helpful and it turned out that my suspension was perfectly fine and the car just needed 2 tires and a new serpentine belt. I ended up spending a quarter of what the other shop wanted to charge just for the suspension work. Thank you so much for everything, You've definitely gain a lifelong customer today!

Paid three hundred dollars to have my window fixed they just reglued the old pieces back and it broke again 2 months later. And now they can't fix it because they can't get new pieces and won't guarantee their work. Now they want another $300 for a whole new window. Also had another car looked at there 2 years ago, they said it was gonna be $2500 to fix and it wasn't worth it and I got a whole new motor put in for700 hundred somewhere else and it's still running today. Also misdiagnosed a easy fix on my son's car and the work they did on it is falling apart a year later and won't guarantee that either.

I've used Car Masters since I moved to Lexington in 2016. I was referred there by my boyfriend (he continues to be a frequent flier). I know nothing about cars, but I never feel like I'm being ripped off; I always feel like I'm getting a fair deal. I've had experiences at other places that were the opposite and am glad to have found a place that I trust.

Car Masters has always done a great job in finding and fixing all our car problems and repairs. Michelle, Tim, and their mechanics go out of their way to make sure our cars are in top running condition when we leave their shop. Thanks guys for all the years you’ve helped us out with our vehicles.

I will be calling BBB about this business. They are trying to take advantage of my mom. AAA towed her car here and told her diagnostics were free. They claimed she needed a new fuel pump, for $800!! Outrageous. Even the dealership will do it for less. When she refused to let them do it, they told her she owed them over $100 for the diagnostic fee. And threatened to call the cops on her! AAA is not happy and this business will have a problem on its hands now. I will be telling AAA all about this, and may even pursue legal action. I wouldn't trust them with even an oil change. Scam artists and POS's run this place!

Edit: Since they claim these are mistruths... my mom has screenshots and recordings of calls harassing her after I posted my review, which we will be turning over to the authorities. I urge you all to continue! Only helps our case.

2nd edit: mom took it to her own mechanic, turns out it WAS the battery, not surprised! Not a fuel pump like these people said!

I’ve been using Car Masters for years and can vouch for their quality of work, customer service and affordability. Would recommend to anyone! You won’t need another shop!

Michelle, Tim and Tim are very knowledgeable and down-to-earth. It’s clear why they’ve been in business for almost 20 years. I’ll be taking my vehicle back to them when needed.
