Best WLM Reviews

First time at Captains. What a hidden gem this restaurant is. Delicious food and fabulous cocktails. Our bartender was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back and sit at the new outdoor bar. Definitely a must try!!!
A Hidden gem in Sandwich, where the prices are reasonable, the portions are good, great quality food and the staff is attentive and friendly. This was my first time here in eight years. All of the changes are awesome . We were a party of three adults and two children. We mostly had seafood, including the whole belly clam plate that was on special for $24.99. The food was great and our waitress was very nice. If we had room for dessert, I think we would’ve got the carrot cake, it was about four layers, which I spotted in the dessert case as we walked in. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying the new outdoor bar, this is going to be a great place to meet friends and relax with a summer drink. I live within walking distance and I think this will my new go-to place this summer!
I've been frequenting this restaurant for about 5 years. The food has been pretty good until tonight! I ordered the lamb. It was dried out, tough and almost inedible. It was served over way overcooked stringbeans and rice. What a nightmare! Not sure what's happening here! Definitely won't ever be back!!!
We did not have a good experience eating at this restaurant. There were 6 of us, so we tried a variety of the food here. Going in, it looks like they dont know if they want to be a diner or a fine dining restaurant. The food took a long time even though there were only three tables in the whole place. The food was very bland and underwhelming, considering the price. This might be a good hometown restaurant but not a place to eat if you're traveling looking for somewhere to eat.
We went here for a family dinner at my son’s suggestion. I don’t have any regrets. The place was quite the waitress was friendly and patient. I had to return the slim piña colada which she had suggested. She didn’t hesitate to take it away and get me another. Our meal came in a timely manner and we all enjoyed it the atmosphere. I must say for tourists be aware they close at 8:30 but it’s the cape so apparently most retire early.
PS. Please get another restroom one is definitely NOT enough to service the size of the restaurant.
Fabulous food!! Steaming hot!! I never eat fries but these wide ,fat crispy on the outside but soft potato on the inside a meal in them selves!! Jill our Server was a pleasure. Always a smile , prompt service, very attentive, took the time to listen and met our needs. The cook even took the time to come and chat with us at our table. A family restaurant who showed that they care about their customers and also spoke highly of his workers . I would recommend it highly.
I really don’t like to leave a negative review because there were some definite positives to our experience. The options of various Greek foods on the menu was a treat. The waitress was very polite. My complaints would be the shrimp scampi which tasted nothing like any shrimp scampi I’ve ever eaten. It was very salty and tasted mostly of onions. I think it’s smart for a restaurant not to go too far off the norm with a dish like that. There are certain expectation that a diner has with a popular selection like a shrimp scampi. The linguini was bathed in a salty onion sauce that I did not expect or enjoy. My friends chicken Caesar wrap was good as well as the seafood chowder. The restaurant could also use an update.
Thought it would be more nautical. Dated ambiance.Table not clean. Flower vase dirty. Dated Mother’s Day special card on table. Tacky disposable salt and pepper shakers.Divider walls not clean. Floor not clean.Seafood was average.Salad was good.Dessert was included, but high up charge was 5.00 for baklava that looked and tasted more like apple pie. With so many restaurant options available in the area, it’s hard to say that I would be back.
