I've been a customer for quite some time now, Ive been coming for well over 5+ years and the workers are very polite and fast paced, Moe makes sure my food is always fresh and always welcomes everyone with a smile! A lot of the bad reviews on here are from customers who are just plain "RUDE" and either want things to be their way or the highway and want refunds for food they already consumed.. basically a free meal, lol ????...
I Love captain Hooks. The service is great and the food is very good. Now I’m a picky eater but the food there is great. The cashier and the cook Moe is very nice everyone should go right now and check them out.
$81 for the photo. Ask for lemon pepper on the side and wasn’t told they don’t do on the side until I called to tell them we didn’t get any. As you’ll see in the pics the top portion of fries is half the other and burnt. Would not recommend and don’t plan to visit again.
The short lady is always helpful and the team is great overall. Most importantly the food is always made to order and efficiently in a timely manner.
Everytime they get my order wrong. Then have the audacity to argue with me about wanting it remade. I even had an employee touch my food to check if I had the grilled onions I specifically asked for when he verified that the order was wrong he actually tried to give me food he just raw dogged with his hands. The restaurant is clean but the cooks are dirty rarely wear gloves and they all have nasty attitudes like I have to patronize their terrible restaurant with poor customer service. No thanks get them out the hood

The fried catfish tasted very similar to what you find elsewhere (JJ fish, whales etc). Fries on the other hand were great. My coworker was a huge fan of the wings. Food was served in roughly 10 mins. There was plenty of seating inside as well as it being relatively clean. The place is very similar to other chicken and seafood shops on the south side. If you are a fan of them you will enjoy this place. However I don't believe this place does anything special to distinguish itself from others.
I ordered using Uber eats, and I was very disappointed. I ordered Jack salmon, and wings. The food was thrown together quickly, because it wasn't fried hard like I requested, and it was easy for delivery to soon. It had no seasoning whatsoever on it. Definitely the worse fish, and wings that I've ever had. Money wasted, lesson learned.
