Up there with top 2 worst restaurant experiences ever. Absolutely 0 sense of urgency here. I placed an online order thinking it would be a quick pick up. There's a line of maybe 5 people waiting. We all waited 30+ minutes while I personally waited 60 minutes and am still waiting as I type this for a 4 piece fish meal, hush puppies, and cheesecake. No attempt was made by the cashier up front (tall heavyset guy)to explain or check on anyone. On his phone several times. I had to ask multiple times how long on my order throughout my time waiting. The manager not once took control of the situation to apologize or address the issue. This location has poor communication, poor sense of urgency. I'm on a road trip and have a long drive ahead of me. My dog is waiting outside and this is ridiculous how long we are waiting. The only person who made an effort was a shorter cashier with long blonde braids. She was the only one to give me an apology and finally put a rush on things although it wasn't her responsibility when she clocked in. I'd like a call from corporate and full refund as this location does not deserve my hard earned money.
By far one of the worst experiences I have had at a fast food restaurant. I waited in line for 40 minutes. When I got up to the intercom there was a paper sign that said it was down and to order at the window. They were only taking one order at a time. They could have taken the orders and let us sit in the parking lot to make this situation more efficient. The staff seemed very lazy. This was by far ridiculous. All of them were on their phones. This is why all of these places close down. No kind of good work ethic.
The line was extremely long for the drive thru. The night manager was super sweet and offered us free drinks for the wait. She also took the time to engage with us, too bad she doesn't live in Florida, Captain D's needs more management like her.
Food was fine! The fish was as good as long johns. The chicken was not the same and I prefer LJS chicken but I enjoyed the meal. I liked the dacor but the floors needed cleaning.
I got the chicken and fish. The portions weren't very big. The green beans were cold. I like the hush puppies. Restaurant itself was nothing to write home about but okay. It took about 10 minutes to get our food.
Ordered the $5.99 shrimp and fries and a side of fried mozzarella sticks. The fries were half cooked, the shrimp were small but satisfactory. The mozzarella sticks tasted artificial and more like fried paper with a crust. I'll never get those types of foods there again, for sure.
The Captain Ds in Perry Ga is probably the best location out of any of it restaurants! I no longer live in Perry but when I come back to visit, this is my go to place. Keep up the great work there guys!
I ordered a 2 piece fish dinner with broccoli and fried okra and it looks like scraps were thrown in my box. Never had a dinner to look like this from Captain D's.
