The only reason this is getting one star and not zero Stars, is because the lowest I can go is just one star. What the hell happened to this restaurant? Service is gone downhill, food quantity and quality have gone down, and finally cleanliness has taken a major hit. Until they make some changes I won't be back.
I just love Captain Ds, it's a nostalgic thing for me. My first job was at a Captain Ds and I love all that fried fish goodness. I love the sauces and I enjoy the crunchy bits. The prices are outrageous though. So this restaurant will only be a rare treat for me. I can have a sit down meal with full service for the same price or less in several places.
Lady at window was nice but I spent over $60 get home and my fish was old and had been reheated and the chicken was the same look at the attached pictures will not be eating there anymore
Motherday all emloyees were working very hard. Best fish and chips we have had in a while
We drove from Tazewell to get dinner. We went through the drive through. It's was when we got homes we realized that the food was awful. The fish was old. We paid for extra fish That we DIDN'T get. We only had 1 hush puppy.
Y'all had one job, and you dropped the ball.
I think You save the awful fish for the drive through. *I guess this is why people check the food before leaving the line.

Great food, friendly, clean, and remember their customers. My dad's favorite restaurant. We celebrated his 100th birthday today, he is in heaven, but the staff remembered him and celebrated with us!
I went through the drive thru for 2 simple dinners,nothing complicated. The least busy time of the day,Total wait time was 32 minutes. No apology or anything...I gave it 2 stars because the food was good, but the service was absolutely horrible.. I'll find another place for food before I sit 32 minutes in a drive thru lane.
The area director of Captain D's reach out by email and assured me that the problems are being corrected. So with that being done,I understand that every place has "bad" days. I will be revisiting Captain D's again,and keep everyone updated about the service.. Update: I went to my Bluefield WV Captain D's;
, the experience was so good tonight..The lady was working the drive thru and the counter .Megan was so friendly and helpful,while doing an excellent job on all orders. They definitely earned that 5 star rating back. Thank y'all so much for doing such a great job.
