The attraction here is the setting, right on the river! You can walk out on the dock, you can even ride your boat up to the restaurant! The service here was very good, and they accommodated our large group well. The food is typical beachfront type food, mostly the good things are fried. The crab cakes stand out however, and I recommend those.

Love Captain Billy's. There are not a lot of places you can go get all you can eat Blue Crabs. Service is usually pretty solid. The location is amazing, right on the Potomac River, with wonderful views and sunsets. Any downfalls of Capt B, the atmosphere helps makes up for it. There is even a river boat that comes to the dock. They have a pretty good selection of seafood. Prices can be a little pricey, but typically, it's worth it. We would make day trips to the area from Richmond, VA, just to end up having dinner here, so yeah, it's worth it!

Went out to eat seafood and have a enjoyable dinner. The oyster stew was great. My wife had a fish sandwich and the fish was good. Our daughter had fish and chips, the french fries were soggy and not cooked. I had an oyster platter, the oysters were breaded and cooked just right. But my french fries were also soggy and the dinner salad had quite a bit of brown lettuce. For what we paid, won't be going back. Beautiful view of the river and sunset.

Love this place. It is a treat every time I go. I have never had a bad meal there. Everything is tasty and cooked well. The waitresses are very responsive and give outstanding service. I love the rustic waterfront look. Always clean and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place.

Hidden treasure! I highly recommend spending an afternoon there. You will not regret it. Everything we had was delicious! Even the cocktail sauce was homemade! I cannot wait to go back and sit on the patio on a warm day!

Wow…. The trek to Capt. Billy’s Crab House was well worth it. Nothing beats this restaurant for Maryland cuisine. I had the lump crab cake sandwich and it was indeed perfection. The oysters were succulent, tender My fellow diner had soft shell crab sandwich and both entrees were arguably the best I have had in years. The coleslaw and potato salad was freshly made at the premises and flavorful and delish.

The service was wonderful and the servers were so pleasant and knew their menu well. The prices were actually very very reasonable. The premises are not fancy but rather homey, and at once, inviting. Much to recommend this establishment. Please do Not miss this restaurant. Happy travels and happy dining!!!????
