Best WLM Reviews
Delicious!!! Nothing like a cold beer in a frosted glass on a hot day. Gator bites are yummy and tender. Catfish poboy also great. Keslie behind the bar was amazing and kicked some serious booty all by herself.
Everything, from the service to the food, was amazing. Decided to give this place a try after attending Live After 5. So glad I did. It's also difficult for me to find a carrot cake I actually like- one that reminds me of my aunts' and grandmother's. Capital City Grill's carrot cake was extremely similar. Will definitely be back.
Nice and quiet(monday 5:45pm)
I had the Salmon and bread pudding. The rice was a tad crispy but the rest of the food was excellent. Great service, right on the river, definitely recommend.
I went there tonight, it was my first time. I was very disappointed. We ordered fried alligator as an appetizer. (It was very delicious!) However, we didn’t get that much especially for paying $14.00. I was going to ask our server where the rest of
It was. I get on here to write a review and saw someone posted a picture of their fried alligator. The got WAYYYY more than us. My boyfriend ordered the half and half platter. He got one catfish and some shrimp. That is not half and half. I definitely think this place is way over price for the amount of food you get.
Service was good. I sent the queso back because it was hard to dip a chip because it was on the cold side. The seafood pasta had too much red pepper and should have been listed as a spicy seafood pasta. The penne pasta was super overcooked. The tenderizing hammer must have bypassed my chicken fried steak it was tough. It also was rolled up on one end where the only crust I found was a wad of uncooked batter. The fried ???? cheese wedges were pretty good. The size of the dipping marinara was too small for 5 wedges. I expected good quality food to be prepared correctly. I don't plan to come back.
First time eating here. Glad we decided to give this place a try. Food was good! Ashley was our waitress and she was very friendly and well educated on the menu/flavors.
Baby I have to give it to the kitchen staff...EVERYTHING WAS WELL SEASONED & THE STEAK WAS SO JUICY. The boudin balls were fried perfectly & the pasta was amazing.
Stopped here for dinner one evening when I came to town for work. Sat at the bar & had a really great conversation with the bartender who shared some local insight and a phenomenal dinner. The spoon bread is delicious! Highly recommend!
