Best WLM Reviews
Great food in a nice area right behind King Street. We had the summer rolls, imperial rolls, Lotus salad, and the House pho, which were all very good! Our favorite was the Lotus salad, which was particularly refreshing.
Our waiter sometimes felt somewhat impatient, as he once or twice asked us a question but then didn't really wait for an answer. But other than he and the other staff members were very attentive, service was quick, and all things considered it was a great experience and I know I will be back next time I'm in the area!
Generally everything was good, I just wasn't as happy as I'd like to be for spending about $50 pp with tip for a beer, dinner, and shared appetizers. I will try to visit again and try the pho. Service was relatively quick. The place is very small and won't seat partial parties. It got quite crowded so be prepared.
Cozy Vietnamese hotspot featuring incredible pho, stir fry, and sandwiches. Foodie heaven with a great selection of wines. Vegetarian pho exceeds expectations. Come here for small celebrations with friends, catching up with family, or first dates!
The nicest folks and delicious food. We were travelling and came across Ca Phe Banh Mi while in the area, we had some personal mishaps, but the restaurant was very kind to us. It is a truly refreshing experience.
Sooo good and reasonably priced too. One of my new favorite spots in Alexandria. These sandwiches are super tasty and could easily fly under the radar. DC area might sneakily have some really elite Banh Mi. The baguette tasted fresh and all the ingredients were portioned out in a balanced manner.
Inside is kind of tight and chaotic so we opted to sit outside even though it was a hot summer day
Too too yummy in my tummy! The banh mi, the bun, the shrimp salad, the beer, the decor, the atmosphere, the takeout, the wine dispensers, the outdoor seating, the rice, the rolls deep fried to perfection. But not cheap.
Parking will be the biggest challenge since it’s street parking in a touristy area. It’s a small casual setting but comfortable. If the weather is good then opt for a table outside and enjoy. Service is good as well as the food. I had a red curry bahn mi which was pretty good and my wife had the grilled chicken vermicelli, which was decent but not standout.
Very fast service. Wandering around Alexandria and decided to stop for a quick bite. The iced coffee was fantastic and even better on a summer day. The summer roll was delicious and wrapped so perfectly it was almost a crime to eat it. The roast pork banh mi was seasoned well and had a good balance with the veggies. The staff are friendly and if the weather is good, eating outside is very nice. When this was served to me they placed a laminated sign on the front door saying no more banh mi for the day. While this may be disappointing to some, I take this as a sign this restaurant cares about quality over quantity and this means they bake their bread daily and that their banh mi is in such high demand they have a sign made up because they would rather sell out than serve day old food or have it go to waste.
