03/15/2024 was my first time returning to this Cap City Fine Diner and Bar for a friend’s birthday dinner. Haven’t been to this location since 2011. The decor has changed. It is modern sophisticated with either booth seating or table. I ordered the Balsamic Chicken that was heavenly rotisserie and complimented with meaningful mashed potatoes, and savory spinach. For a cocktail, I ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Fizz. Everything was delicious. I had to ordered their amazing Carrot Cake. Great service. Thank you, Hailey. Parking spaces out front. Decent patio spaces to dine. Decent prices.
Stopped in for Brunch… location is very clean and modern… staff was very friendly, efficient and fast…
The rolls are a great touch for brunch… the four egg omelette was really good… but did have to add some hot sauce… this was also a large plate and did not get fully eaten… the chicken and biscuits was really good as well and a large portion that was able to take about half home… the eggs on hash were phenomenal and a must try..! Freshly brewed unsweetened tea brought to you in a craft…
We will definitely be back to try many other dishes here..!
Love this place! A mix between fine dining and comfort food. I’ve been twice and both times I had a fantastic experience. It’s important that I add that I have celiac’s disease and I cannot have gluten or it’s cross contamination. This restaurant and their other concepts come highly recommended by others with celiac and they’re totally right when they say that they take good care of folks with allergies. I feel very safe eating here and haven’t gotten sick after. I also need to add that I’ve had the same server both times, Carlos, and he is incredible! He is very knowledgeable and kind and doesn’t make me feel like my allergy is an inconvenience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone but especially to anyone with allergies.
Just a casual dinner out and this is one of our go-tos. We started with a half order of Maytag Bleu Cheese Potato Chips, then we split a wedge. My entree was a cheeseburger and fries and my husband had a fish sandwich and Cole slaw. Then we shared a piece of Peanut Butter Pie. Everything was excellent!
Beef Stroganoff more like Beef StroganON POINT! Unique blend of spinach onion mushroom sour cream and some bomb gravy sauce made this a dish worth repeating. Could use a bit more beef though. Servers were attentive and courteous. Facilities well maintained and clean and the prices aren't too crazy.

Another masterpiece at Cap City tonight! The meatloaf was so good, as was the blue cheese chips and chocolate shake and chocolate peanut butter pie! Omgosh it was all so good! Sam was a great server! He was very friendly and attentive! What a great place!
Great food excellent service, reasonable price.
have you ever had whipped cream that tastes like… nothing? if not, try it here! they serve it on top of the dry grainy stale chocolate brownie sundae! we honestly had a little bit of everything here and it is all bland.. nothing had flavor.. we tried french toast, bland.. burger, chicken tenders, chicken breast, fries, mashed potatoes, a sundae… all of it.. just so so so meh.. it’s all overpriced below average food… i’d definitely rather eat at some low end street diner.. the service was nothing but subpar, we sat a while before being greeted and it took forever just to get some water.. the best thing there was the beer on tap… i definitely wouldn’t eat here again.. we had a gift card, it had $35 bucks on it when we left and we just gave it to another table because we did not care to come back.. our dirty dishes sat on our table the whole meal?? idk what was up with that, but i’ve never seen it anywhere else? we were confused.. anyway, go to longhorn or some other restaurant, i wouldn’t recommend this food to anyone personally, and i definitely won’t be back..
One of the best places my wife and I have been to in a long time. We had Cole as our server and he was fantastic and very attentive during our time. The gluten-free fish and chips is outstanding and I would highly recommend it along with some of the best chicken wings I have ever had. If you're passing through the Columbus area, definitely check this place out.
