Xochi is an excellent host. You can really tell she cooks from the heart. The tacos are the best that I've tried lately among the competition, and most importantly fairly priced. We would definitely follow her footsteps wherever she goes!
Best, most authentic food I have had in Miami. To start, I am from Tucson Arizona, 40 minutes from Mexico, and I have been eating mexican food my whole life. This is some of the most traditional Mexican food I have ever eaten, including most places in Mexico that I have been to. Nearly everything is made in house from the salsa to the best arroz I've ever had. The mole is imported from Pueblo Mexico, and it is the finest mole I have ever tasted. The layers of flavors were complex and rich and they kept you wanting more even when you were fully stuffed. The nopales y champinones enchiladas were perfect, I have never had nopales that were such a perfect texture. The frijoles refritos could be eaten by the bucket. Even the michelada blew me away. The prices were great for food from scratch that is made locally, and the portions were all substantial. If anything, it is on the cheaper cost end of food in Miami, but no high-end or fresh ingredient was spared to make it so. Last but not least, the owner is the sweetest woman you could ask for. She took our order, explained the cooking processes, the ideas and concepts behind the menu and the restaurant layout, and much more. She truly made it feel as though we had gone to her house for the evening and she had made us a phenomenal meal, made with love. If you like Mexican food, this is by far the best you will find in the area.
Home cooked mexican food. Can’t beat that! Tacos were delicious. It is a bit pricey and things do add up keep this in mind.
This place is the BOMB!!
It’s definitely the best AUTHENTIC Mexican Food I’ve ever had in Miami.
The owner is the cook and her passion for the “art” that she creates shows all over her face as she spoke with me.
Great food and great service in Miami is rare so I highly recommend that you come and support this small business.
You won’t regret it!
I’ve had a lot of Mexican and this is by far the best I’ve had in Miami period. The chef owns the place and cooks everyday.
I’ve had Mexican food everywhere in Mexico and New York and this place holds its own as far as other places. In Miami it’s by far the best with all the mediocre places on south beach.
If someone finds a better tinga de pollo taco I’ll pay for your meal.
Home cooked, super fresh meals made from the heart. I don’t feel like a customer but family here. It’s a nice spot for date night or even out with coworkers. Being from California myself, this is super authentic and fresh Mexican cuisine.
I finally found a Mexican Resturant in Miami.. the tacos are good.. I had some bad experiences on Uber eats.. before I order I read the reviews and I'm not disappointed. Pricey.. around 5 dollars a taco. Orlando I usually spend about 2 bucks per taco. But the food is gooooood.
Amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine in a casual location. The tacos have been amazing each time we have been there, and we love the artistry of chef Sochi. Mexican food with chiles is as authentic Mexican food as one will find in Mejico.
