Overall the food was good, but service was lacking.
Took longer than expected to be seated with a party of 6, approximately 15 minutes. Tables were open but not cleared. Once seated the server could not understand the order, and made multiple unsuccessful attempts to take the order. Finally he got another server to come with him to the table and we were able to order. My personal order was repeated a total of 4 times, and there was no modification to the dish. It took about 25 minutes to complete ordering alone. It was frustrating to say the least.
The chips were fresh and hot, and the salsa was great! Once the food made it's way to the table it was pretty good. The shrimp were not over cooked and snapped when you bit into them. Was it the best Mexican meal I have ever had, no. But it was above average. What tarnished the experience was the service aspect. Not sure if the server was new, or there was a language barrier or something else... But there is an opportunity to improve. I would like to go again and try out some of the other dishes.
Great local restaurant, in downtown Grand Ledge, Michigan, with amazing food and excellent customer service! Gorgeous, COLORFUL, Mexican interior design with very comfortable booths!!!! Full bar!!!! You have to try the Taco Salad!! A+ ???? WE LOVE THIS PLACE! ♥️
I have ordered chicken quesadilla and grilled shrimp,both of them outstanding !!! I always pay attention to details, and when you see shrimp prepared the right way, you know the kitchen staff is knowledgeable,and attentive about the job they're doing. The service staff are very friendly, and attentive as well. They're already my favorite place, but It's too bad for me that this place isn't close to my house.
I'm a gourmet, a chef, and ServSafe certified food service manager, and I can highly recommend this place
What a happy, enjoyable, delicious place to eat with a great server! The food was so good and we had a great meal in these pleasant surroundings. Will go back!
The food was very disappointing. I got the fajitas in a half pineapple. Chicken steak and shrimp were all way over cooked dry with no seasoning at all. We also try the chicken burrito which was so small you could barely see it under the sauce. We also ordered one kids meal two regular drinks and one mojito. It was $78 for 3 meals and some guacamole.
Food is great but unfortunately our server Courtney wasn’t very personable. She was very short and didn’t seem very happy to be serving us. Just wasn’t very friendly unfortunately. All other servers seemed very nice!
I love locally owned little restaurants with a bar. It's not as authentic as i like, but the food is always good. Occasionally, the parking can be a hassle, but usually, we can grab a spot. I love that it's in old town buildings of grand ledge and it adds something to the environment.
