Best WLM Reviews
It has been six hours and I am still trying to develop a fair and thoughtful review as this was a mixed bag for me.
My wife and her friend tried this place about a year ago. They loved the mole enchiladas and carneta tacos. My friend and a colleague rave about it for Mexican food in the area.
This afternoon, my wife and I went for an early dinner. I was super hungry and ordered the Grande Especial. It was comparable to other mixed plates at Mexican restaurants in the past. I did find the dinner prices to be outrageously high considering you don't even get beans and rice with the majority of the dishes and a coke is $4.
The waitress was very friendly but not very attentive. The atmosphere was colorful and welcoming.
Having lived in El Paso for some time, I'd rate the food as somewhat authentic for speciality items but overpriced. Up charge for everything and I could do better at home. I will give it another try but I am unsure at the moment.
The restaurant interior is very vibrant, welcoming, and has a lot of character. The staff were very polite and friendly but the food left something to be desired. The seemingly fresh ingredients, presentation, and options were great, and I'm sure there are people that absolutely love the taste, but for my husband I, the food was waaay too salty, greasy, and the overuse of cheese was just not it. I ordered the Quesadilla grande, and he ordered the vegetarian quesadilla with spinach. I thought the $15 price tag was a little wild for what his quesadilla included but the $20 seemed to suit mine with the chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, etc with sides of guacamole salad, rice, and Pico de gallo. Of course, we can only speak on our experience.
We have visited this restaurant a couple of times for takeouts. The place is always bustling with people and their food is the definite reason why. We have tried their vegetarian options and it was delicious. The portion sizes and the taste was amazing.
We will plan our dine in soon! Highly recommend this restaurant for some amazing Mexican cuisine with a lot of vegetarian options.
Looking for great Mexican food and great drinks? Cancun has what you want. Great eats, service in an authentically bright and inviting atmosphere, it's worth stopping into. We've tried their chimichangas, and al pastor tacos, both were filled with flavor. Also be sure to ask for the spicy salsa if you want a kick.
Great food and great service. The other night, we expected to be just a party of 3. But a family member ended up being able to join unexpectedly and made us a party of 4. Even though we'd already put in our order, our server was quick to put the additional late order in and get it out quickly, and they were so nice about it. We really appreciated the flexibility.
This was a nice find for us while searching for a place to eat. Just 15 mins. from Trenton. When you walk in, the colorfully themed chairs and tables take you away to a little Mexico. The service was very good. The food was excellent! We went for lunch and their lunch specials were priced right. I had the enchilada and hubby had the chili relleno. Then we shared an Al Pastor tacos. The dessert was the sopapilla with ice cream. Highly recommend this place.
I'm only giving a 4 because it was a bit pricey for the portion but it was definitely good food and service. I will definitely be back to check them out again.
First off, let me just say that I hope they never franchise this restaurant. My family and I have been here 3 times. We live in NY, the first time we were visiting Sesame Place with our 2-year-old. The food was SOOOOOO incredibly delicious that we made a trip back to PA and spent a night just to eat at Cancun!
Our son is now 4 years old and we wanted to bring him back to Sesame place maybe for the last time BUT we were more excited to eat at Cancun. And third time really is a charm. Because the food tasted even better than the 1st and 2nd time. Didn't even know that was possible.
Oh! Imelda, our waitress this time around was so kind and sweet!
Can't wait to drive up there again just to eat their food.
