Best WLM Reviews
The Food is amazing! The staff is clean, friendly, and welcoming. The dinning area is spacious, and comforting, with a nice touch with the decor! Wonderful Family owned business, where the BBQ is smoked daily on location, the burgers are hand formed per order, desserts are secret family recipes, and frankly some of the best wings I have ever tasted. I could go on and on, but I really suggest anyone looking for a wonderful experience in small town dinning check this place out!!!
Friendly atmosphere good food and very reasonable prices. ! I have never saw a bug one in this place and the wings are delicious and they make their own Awesome sauce for the wings and BBQ and their burgers are hand patted fresh and cooked to order ! Today I had the fish plate and it was a nice portion too.. My grandkids love their fresh hand breaded chicken tenders... I would recommend this restaurant to anyone !! Kudos to Ms Tabitha and Chef Chris !
Had a pulled pork sandwich, delicious! Couldn't have been better. It is very relaxed, but the food is excellent. Not just another sloppy diner. I don't like restaurant banana pudding, but theirs was so good we ordered another. Nothing pretentious or fancy, but excellent food, from nice people.
If you're too busy to read the whole review, I basically say that these people go out of their way, no matter the time, to satisfy their customers. I'm beyond impressed. Enough to leave a review.
But if you love informed decisions...
I walked into this restaurant not realizing that it had been almost an hour since they had closed. They were in the process of cleaning the place up, very busy. I was kindly welcomed in and provided an overwhelming experience. They over-delivered!! It's rare that a place provides such an exceptional service that I have to give them five stars, usually it's 4 if the place was good. I'm sitting here happily eating my meal. If your a local or new to town, eat here to have a lasting impression!
PS. The people that run the place are a very rare type, they are able to over deliver during every experience AND communicate effectively. Did not expect this for Small Town Gurley! That was my 3rd visit ever and the experience gets even better every time!
Best fries, best ribs, and burgers SO BIG you need two hands to hold them! Food is made fresh to order, so the minute or two that you wait is rewarded in food that tastes like homemade! Tabitha and her staff provide excellent service and will be glad to serve you great food!
Great food, great service. They put their heart and sole in to pleasing the customer. Support our local business so we can continue to get great burgers made the old fashion way. They are great !!
My kids and I went for breakfast and the food was not good at all. The kids each had pancakes. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and crumbly like a biscuit on the inside. The kids said they tasted like a biscuit, so I took a bite. It was the nastiest tasting pancake I've ever had. Also my daughter had bacon. I told the lady that took our order that she did not want it crispy. It came out super crispy. I had a blt and tater tots. The blt was ok, but what few tater tots I got were way over cooked. Apparently we were the first eat in customers of the day (we got there at 11 a.m.), because the dining room lights hadn't been turned on yet and the soda machine was still off and there was no tea out. The lady that seated us acted a little put out that we wanted to dine in and rudely let us know that if we wanted biscuits we'd have a longer wait. Also, when I told her the soda machine wasn't working she replied with an attitude "turn the key", like I should have already known to do so. I will never eat there again!
I highly recommend eating here. They have great food and super friendly service. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Prices are great!
