Is this the best place I’ve eaten at? No.
But it doesn’t deserve such a low rating. The menu is very basic and even though they missed an instruction on my order I can’t really complain.
Was seated super quickly and was brought my food and drink timely. Got the burger and it was fine.
I’ve had worse food and service at an airport before.
I don’t quite understand why this place is a 2.8 based on my experience.
Really fantastic. I got the chicken breast because the waiter said it was the best item on the menu, and it really delivered. Was delicious and savory and arrived fairly quickly. Our waiter was great too btw.
No clue why this restaurant isn’t rated higher this was so great especially compared to other airport restaurants
I was expecting the worst, but the waitstaff were friendly and it was pretty good for airport food. The turkey sandwich was nicely buttered and toasted, but some of the fries were slightly soggy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. I was also a little dubious about the additional surcharge, but I believe that it’s built into the menu pricing because I wasn’t charged an extra fee.
This is a sit-down restaurant with a simple menu. We ordered a "Class Breakfast" and a "Breakfast Sandwich". The food is pretty OK and the portion size pretty decent. And the price is very reasonable considering that it is in an airport terminal.
Worst overpriced food I’ve ever eaten. $38 for salmon and a bottle of water. Portion was small and overcooked. Even the plastic fork was cheap flexible trash. This is the first time in my life I’ve thought of walking out when the food arrived. Don’t waste your money; a refrigerated pre-made salad is tastier and fresher than the garbage this place will serve you.
The Angus Bacon Cheeseburger was really tasty. The shoestring fries were nicely crisp and it was a very generous portion. They had a special on drinks. The Guinness was perfect with the burger, and the Jameson's rounded out the meal.
The parter says”how is everything?” To the Caucasian customers, not to me being asian. The fish tacos used to be great. Something look forward to coming back to LAX. The quality has gone down a lot. Veggies should be more tangy a should have avocado.
There's another place nearby which had a massive queue. We didn't want to wait so gave Campanile a go.
We were very pleasantly surprised.
Excellent food, friendly attentive staff and well priced. I'd say the same even if it weren't airport food!
We wondered why there were empty tables when the other place was so busy. We're not restaurant experts but it's location, tucked away behind a bar and adjoining a knick-knacks store and a brightly lit fast food type restaurant probably aren't helping. Not that these things matter much once you're inside.
