Best WLM Reviews
Really great food and service. Found all items to be really fresh and well seasoned. Papaya salad had the perfect balance of sour and spice. Bone broth has a great, rich depth of flavour, perhaps slightly salt forward for my liking. Banh Mi sandwich hit all the right notes and the bread does not hurt the roof of your mouth. The parking lot is very small, suggest street parking. Highly recommended.
Best pho on the west side. The pho bone broth is so freaking good I can drink the whole bowl for the rest of my life. I also love their crispy egg rolls and the brisket roll. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s 10/10. It’s pricer but everything is pricey on the west side lol
Food- the pho we ordered came out lukewarm. the soup is NOT pho. I don’t even know how they can call this pho, it was very salty and with little taste apart from that. it is very westernized and tasted sad.
Service- our server seemed to not know much about normal, traditional pho? there was only one person working in the front of the house, he gave a very condescending, can’t-be-bother vibe. he also forgot our waters and some of the stuff I requested on the side (which was just a side of onion).
Atmosphere- terrible. the seating area is super dark, no light, just a small candle. the only light you get it from the street. this place does not AT ALL give a romantic or intimate vibe even though it desperately tries to. the music seems to be played from a small speaker turned up to a 100%, playing an extremely obnoxious EDM. and I do not mind EDM but when it sounds so broken and blasting in my ears it is really unpleasant.
it’s dim, it’s loud, it’s awkward. food is bad. awful place to sit. please do not come here.
So delish! The crab/shrimp egg rolls are fried in rice paper so very crispy. We also shared the chicken pho which went down way too fast! Our server recommend the pork crispy noodles when we come back next which sound amazing as well! Just a tip, no visible sign outside that we could see, so just know it’s on the corner that runs along Lincoln Blvd - super cute inside too, great find!
What an incredible evening filled with wonderful service and food!
Out of everything we ordered the crispy pulled pork noodles were our favorite! It was so flavorful, noodles were chewy and then had a crispness to them! Wowwwwww. I could have that all over again!
Don’t miss out on that brisket pho. The broth was wondering and the brisket was incredibly tender!
Everything else was amazing as well, just needed to highlight those two!
Thank you for a great experience! Big shoutout to the servers!
Went here with a friend who hits this spot regularly and wow. Literally everything was incredible. The staff was outstanding, so friendly. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm. And the food! We got their house brewed ice tea, crab egg rolls, and two variations of the pho. I could’ve eaten it for all three meals today. Definitely go here. You’ll be back.
Literally the worst food I’ve eaten in LA. (And I LOVE traditional PHO). This isn’t traditional Pho so don’t expect it. It’s “apple cider meets Pho” in a bowl so if you like that it might be okay. Terrible service and it’s so dark in there you need a flashlight when the sun goes down. We had a party of Four, none of us will ever go back. Don’t waste your money there are way better places out there.
Delicious pho! Ordered the filet mignon, was good quality meat. Only issue was the menu didn't have all the traditional Vietnamese.
