This was an awful experience. Trisha wasn’t the least bit friendly. I didn’t a greeting, a thank you, a goodbye, a happy birthday or anything. In addition, she didn’t give the right dressing. Not to mention, she saw me walk to the bathroom without a key and didn’t bother saying anything to me. Poor customer service skills at its best.
Tuesday March 5 I ordered a mango blacked chicken salad for dinner on door dash when my order got to my the lettuce was wilted and old the tortilla chips in the salad were stale there was no bacon which was extra and they had left out the dressing. I called store to tell them about the issues and was told well what do you want me to do about it about three times and I said well what can be done because me order was made wrong I was told well there is only three of us doing tickets so if it's wrong oh well. I said that's not acceptable it's not my problem as a guest that you are short staffed. I told them about the chips she said it's stale because of the lettuce being on top of the chips even though the lettuce was under the chips and lettuce wouldn't make chips stale. I asked to speak to a manager she then started laughing and with other associates and saying these guests are being crazy tonight. Was told manager would be in at 11 the next day called at 12 for two days straight including today which is Saturday and was told no manager is there till Monday the other days I couldn't even get someone to answer the phone. This is not how you talk or treat guests. Mistakes can be made but why is it my fault that my food was made wrong and being told oh well we are short staffed so it's ok to mess up or forget stuff is never an option this meal deal cost me close to 20 dollars for me not to be able to eat it. And no remorse from the store at all
Excellent experience. Went in less than an hour before closing and the there was still a good amount of employees working and taking care of guests. I got steak and chicken combo fajitas in a combo meal with chips & queso, and a drink for around $14. The fajitas included nearly a full grilled chicken breast, several thick (would have preferred thinner) slices of flank steak, rice, beans, fajita veg, guacamole, sour cream, and 3 tortillas. Everything was terrific, except unfortunately the black beans were undercooked and I couldn't ear them however, I was so full from the rest of food I was full and would have had then for lunch the next day.
Service was great! They have 2 freestyle Coke machines, and best feature of all... a WALL of HOT SAUCES! You can sample the hot sauces and even take a sample, or a few lol, home.
I am getting hungry just thinking about the fajitas. Having worked for a fast casual Mexican restaurant concept I know that Qdoba and Chipotle won't do Fajitas for several reasons so I'm happy to know my favorite Mexican meal is available in a quick service restaurant.
I can't wait to go back!!!
This was my first time here and I thought the food was pretty good. I had a big burrito and I loved that it was a BIG burrito!
1.Ambiance is very good.
2. Hospitality is bit improved.
3. I still do not feel California tortilla quality similar to shops in other places..
4. Good place to enjoy Mexical food.
Decent food and kid friendly. Great tacos, rice in burrito felt dry and semi cooked. Lots of sauces to try and choose. Loads of parking right across.
I was in there for dinner last night with my boyfriend. The women at the cashier was extremely rude and when she took my order she just said “what do you want?” We proceeded to order our food and a tall guy presumably the owner you can hear yelling and screaming at his employees in front of the store. I heard them yelling at a women and making her cry and run to the back. After I ordered the food, the women did not say anything and just walked away. We got our food after waiting half an hour.. I was trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt.. however, the food was a nightmare. The guacamole was brown. There was a hair in my burrito and the burrito wouldn’t even stay together. The chicken did not seem like it was cooked all the way. I would have went up and said something but the owner was too busy yelling at their staff. I did happen to see there was some sort of a cockroach trap or bug trap. The tables were not cleaned. The floor was dirty. The bathrooms made gas station bathrooms look clean. Needless to say, California Tortilla was truly a horror movie that never ended.. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially this location!
Lunchtime on a Saturday and this place is as empty as their "75 hot sauces" wall. Nobody here, but still took several minutes before someone took our order. Cashier didn't actually listen though, bc she left off half the stuff my husband ordered.
This place is a joke. Save your money and just go to Taco Bell.
