Walked in on a Friday at 10:30AM for a STAR smog check.
Antonio got me in right away and I walked to Bi Rite while he completed the check. Car was done and ready to go when I got back about 20 minutes later. Super friendly and quick service.
Cost was ~$80
They do walk ins only first come first serve. I walked in on a Friday at 1pm and was the only person, done in 20 mins. They charge what seems to be some standardized price of $78.25 for STAR for cars made in the 2000s. It's near my house and I am satisfied.
Have you ever had fun getting your car smog tested? These guys managed to make it painless and easy and also cracked a few jokes while doing it. Thanks!
My place to go when it comes to my car. Antonio knows his way around a car. He has been working on my family's cars for over 25 years.
They replaced a power steering hose most recently and have done other repairs in the past. Always very reasonable prices and a fast turnaround. I trust Antonio very much.
I got an oil change in September 2023 and discovered days later they did not replace the cap resulting in oil spilled across my engine. I have been unable to get in touch with anyone on the phone and I had to go purchase another oil cap and supplies to clean my vehicle.
Is it time for your smog test? Are you dreading the admin of getting it done? Well, drop the dread. This place is awesome. They make it so easy, so fast and do it with the best service and attitude you can imagine. Reality far exceeded expectations, even with the good reviews on Google.
Thanks Antonio for making my week that much easier!
Highly recommended. My go-to SMOG Check location in SF. Accepts standby appointments. Located very close to the SF DMV.
