Best WLM Reviews

I don’t like giving 1 star reviews, but this place deserves it. I don’t like places that over charge and scam me.
I came here and ordered a burrito. I only asked for 3 things in the burrito: meat, cheese, and beans. They read me back my order. When I got my food, there were no beans in it. I asked for some and they charged me an additional $4 for beans. The burrito was already $17.
This location is so wack. There's clearly no care given here. I got 2 crispy tacos again because the other location is temporarily closed and this is a joke. Barely any meat, the tacos broken in half so how it's going to hold my salsa IDK and the other one doesn't even have a speck of cheese.
You know when you have a craving for your favorite food from your favorite place but that place closes early so you go to your favorite places sister and your favorite food just isn't the same? Yeah that. The food is good just completely different flavours than the federal way location and made with a little less love.
My crispy BEEF tacos were greasy and I'm like 90% sure it was pork not beef.
California burrito is in Washington. I was visiting my brother and we went here after I landed. This is a chain restaurant and it has locations in California too. My brother told me he had been to the one in Vacaville, California, but this one is way better. I guess California burrito is better in Washington. I think it's just on brand for this place to be contradictory. The sign says "CALIFORNIA BURRITO" in big letters and then "TACO SHOP" in smaller letters underneath. What do they want to be known for? They're a taco shop named California burrito? That's like an Apple Farm being named "Georgia Peaches". Anyway, I didn't try their tacos, but their burrito was very good.
Good flavorful food. Good portions. Lots of add on from the free self-service salsa bar.
Food prices are reasonable
But drinks prices are way overpriced.
Actually I feel their prices for drinks are rip-off, and gouging customers. Especially on hot sunny days
They are way too expensive. They are mostly water & sugar & color so why these outrageous ???? high prices ????
Clean spacious place
Lots of free easy parking.
This is the best burrito I’ve had in a long time. Cute nice place either way great staff. Good food well worth the trip to get here.
As Authentic as it gets! This place was recommended to us by a local and even offered to stop and take us to get it but since they are open 24/7 we decided to get comfy and then make the short walk. I ordered a chimichanga and a carne asada taco, and a breakfast burrito for our trip in the morning. The breakfast burrito was SO good even eating it cold. The chimichanga was so filling and took up 3/4 of my to go container and the taco was so thicc I had to eat some with a fork. It was all so delicious! The service was very quick and all very fresh. The salsa bar was a plus but as always be forewarned even the mild/ medium can be spicy! I think for all of those and a tip I spent a little less than $30. The prices are very reasonable and what you get is very delicious!
What an excellent burrito shop. Coming from the southwest, I can verify that this restaurant is as good as almost any burrito maker near the border that I've visited. The meats are perfectly cooked. The salsa bar has a great variety that dabbles in sweet, mild, and spicy. The prices are extremely low for what you get. You will be extremely satisfied with your food.
The food is flavorless, dried out, unappetizing in appearance. There is/was no recognizable traditional carne asada flavoring for either “carne asada” based dish. The torta was made with a cheap, low quality white bread bun of some sort & I can’t really say what’s wrong with the meat—I’m not able to eat more than a bite & I would not/will not feed the leftovers to my dogs—the food is so bad, I doubt the dogs would eat it!
I kept an open mind when my food was ready in less than 5 minutes after placing my order but after a small bite of each takeaway dish that I bought for a cost of $40+, I found that neither dish was edible—my $ would have been much better spent on high quality frozen entrees from the Grocery Outlet.
I’ll remember this place & the whole chain—I’ll remember to keep on driving, not slow down—I will not make this mistake again.
