I liked the seafood. I think it would’ve been better without the sweet garlic sauce. They don’t give you refills.. it’s no waitress service you basically just there to eat. But they was nice stuff. I guess I was expecting juicy seasoning crabs. Overall I will try again just do garlic butter on my seafood.
The food here is amazing! They were very busy, but the staff made sure to check on us regularly. Everything tasted so good. If you order from the right side of the menu you could totally share a plate and still be stuffed. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but that is because they spent their time and money developing good food that is served quickly, which in the food industry I would take good food over ambiance any day.
Foods was good for the bucks. We tried Cajun spice with blue crabs and shrimp and it was very tasty. I took one star out because the blue crabs have no meats. The chicken fried rice was good and the rice is not too sticky.
It was great!!!! I love their Cajun butter garlic seasoning and they give you a good amount of food ????????
Had 2 clusters with the house sauce , sausage, corn, sweet tea. The sauce to me was sweet and a little spicy. It was just perfect. The sauce went great with everything to be honest. The sweet had the perfect amount no of sugar as well. They staff were very nice and attentive. The food came out super fast, but cooked perfectly. When I’m in the area again I would say one back!
Dipping those hush puppies in the butter from the bottom of the plate was absolute heaven. Everything was so freakin good!!! Asked the lady what her favorite spice was and she recommended a mix of cajun and garlic butter. It was great. Better than Steam Boat bills and LA Crawfish.
Excellent Seafood. The Shrimp and Crawfish were huge and the New Zealand Muscles were excellent. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. There was enough food for 2 meals for 2 people. The Staff was very friendly and courteous. Wish they were in Chicagoland.
The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is the chicken fried rice and ramen was very plain. My hubby and son LOVES the seafood, which I'm not a big fan of. My son is a huge fan of ramen so we got him the Seafood Ramen he said the seafood, corn and potatoes were good but the noodles was very plain. I got the Chicken Fried Rice it was very plain there were no kind of seasoning on the poached chicken at all. The rice was very lightly seasoned. Hubby got the Fried shrimp which he loved, he eats here often, and this his go to restaurant when at work.
Also this place is probably the CLEANEST restaurant I've ever been in, it was immaculate! I believe you could literally eat off the floor and be OK. I'm not joking!! CLEAN! I was super impressed! Would I recommend this restaurant... if you love/like seafood.. absolutely! If you don't love/like seafood probably not.
