Best WLM Reviews
Food, service and atmosphere were absolutely phenomenal. Had a great time especially with it being my first time. Even forgot to take pictures. Only down side is the cost but that’s the price you pay for a great seafood meal. Would come again but probably not often. Maybe for a once in while treat or a special occasion. 2 people cost us about $225+ before tip.
Shrimp had a good flavor, but the lemon lime pepper seasoning was way too salty & $3.99 for an iced tea is high, IMO. We would probably not recommend to friends/family & not visit again.
The restaurant was very cold inside, we had to keep our jackets on the whole time we were eating.
The "lunchbox" special is a great deal--$14.99 --for a huge pan of seafood, sausage, corn cob and potato. The House Blend spices at medium spicy was relatively mild and delicious. Fabio, the proprietor, is super friendly and attentive. Plenty of tables, never a wait to get seated. Great place.
At first I was unsure about a "Cajun Crab Shack" , southern style crab with a bit of a Mexican twist . My daughter had the crab legs, I had the carne asada street tacos and my wife the fajitas . We were all happily surprised . The food was spicy when we wanted it spicy and traditional when we asked for it . I would recommend giving this place a try . The service was very good .
I went for the first time. LOVED IT. I'm a foodie and I hadn't even thought about writing a review when I took photos of some of the food we got.The Crab Shack House Mix Sauce is DELICIOUS. EXCELLENT service. Our server's name is Jonathan. He and his assistant (I never got his name) was very nice. I came with a big group. Jonathan double- checked with us to make sure he split our check correctly before running it. Everyone LOVED their food, even the kids. I'm glad I found a little seafood gem. I'm saving up to go again.
Not bad. The medium hot Cajun shrimp and steamed rice with boiled potatoes, corn and sausage was decently flavored and priced at a lower than normal cost. Service was excellent and attentive too. I'll have to go back and try their fried shrimp next time.
A really great seafood/Mexican restaurant in a semi-secluded lot. Glad to find a new seafood boil restaurant in Thousand Oaks. Saves me the drive go Calabasas or Ventura.
I ordered the shrimp, $16.99/lb which is pretty standard, & it was really good. Being a fan of spicy food, I found the medium to be hot enough to enjoy but not too spicy at the same time.
The menu is a collab of both Southern seafood boil & Mexican food. So you get the best of both worlds.
I hope to see this restaurant stick around & think it should be a go-to on any foodies list.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! There was a wait, but it wasn’t too long. The food, however, was such a disappointment. They gave me cold corn. Like ice cold. It was not edible. Their service wasn’t great and they took forever to bring out the food, or come check up on us.
