Our 1st time visiting. The place is nostalgic in its design with a rustic look... I absolutely loved it! The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and sociable. The plate lunch was Bar -B-Que chicken (half of) or pork with all the trimmings. Lots of dirty rice, pork n beans , and potato salad...and i got to tell y'all....the best I've had in a very long time. No musicians were there but Im sure its absolutely fantastic. If yall out for a weekend drive ....I would definitely head on over....friendly, welcoming people and a down home feel....this girl gives Cajun Country Lounge a Dancehall a very strong 5 stars. Check it out yall!!!!

Great place, a comfortable atmosphere, and no smoking. If you want to experience a traditional cajun dance hall, this is the place. Also, beer is always cold.

Nice place and very friendly people. The food is beyond belief!!! Restaurant style recipes in a bar/ kitchen establishment. Quick too, and prices were very fair considering the portions. A must for anyone going through church point for lunch or dinner!!! You are crazy NOT TO STOP IN AND ORDER!!!
I tried the boiled crawfish for the first time and it was not good it’s like it was old and not fresh the crawfish were mainly small and the head of the shells were very soft like they would fall apart they didn’t taste good I will never eat their boiled crawfish and when they first opened the food was good but after a few weeks it wasn’t it’s like everything was cold my po boy and my fries I am not sure if you’ll in a hurry but it’s got to get better than this
