It was HORRIBLE! Customers have to pay a 15% tip no matter what so this means the staff can get away with doing anything and they know they’ll get a 15% tip. They gave us stale chicken that tasted old and nasty. Looked like they took a small dried up nugget and chopped it up then added it to the meal as chicken and pasta. The food was disgusting and the waiters were unfriendly and indifferent. The host was the only nice person there.
Literally will never come back here nor do I recommend. Restaurant was under 30% capacity I had a party of 5 as soon as we walked in we were told we had to leave either a credit card or driver's license to dine because the have a lot of dine and dash situations (I now understand why if they encountered the service I had) 1st red flag. We were seated right way restaurant was basically empty so we had our choice of tables after sitting for literally 30 minutes someone came and took our drink orders, we were ready to order drinks and food because we sat so long so we ordered both. Food came about 30 mins later still no drinks, I asked about my drink that I can clearly she the bartender made 30 mins ago but we were never given I then asked are you sure it's my drink because I know this ain't 25 dollars she went back only for the bartender to only add a shot and pour my drink into the big cup and add ice. So now I'm being served a water down margarita. Our children never got their soft drinks until the very end we asked for additional gloves and lemons that never came. Our server clearly had a thing with one of the people in the kitchen because that's where see stayed never checked on the table at one point she even was fooling around with whoever because all the lights went off on our side of the restaurant and she came out giggling and fixing lip gloss. She brought our check with no problem she had a coat on so I'm assuming it was end of her shift I explained this was the worst service I had experienced and asked her if she felt that we didn't deserve good service because the gratuity was added already its 20% for party's of 5 or more, she stated no it was just bad communication I then asked was this not your table she stated yes. At the point I was ready to go. I'm visiting from Florida Chicago is home and I always try to patronize business but they completely drop the ball I will upload a picture of my water down 25 dollar drink. This place is definitely a no never again.
Decent parking to be in Hyde Park. Check there Facebook they always have specials! Good music, stiff drinks! Lol
most UNDERRATED seafood restaurant near Chicago! Can taste the freshness in the food! Music and Service is great! Only issue was they were out of broccoli.???? DRINKS WERE ???? ????

I did a delivery. I gave a 4 for service because the meal wasn’t sloppy someone took time preparing it to be delivered and I appreciate that. They did the best they could for presentation.
In my opinion the food isn't that flavorful. The Brussel sprouts are possibly roasted, dry on the outside and soft on the inside with absolutely no seasoning, the flavor is in the thin sauce accompanying it.
The Cajun pasta (both chicken and shrimp) had a dash of some red seasoning you could see on top, it wasn't too bad, just didnt give Cajun, and had a few small pieces of bell pepper sprinkled throughout. The chicken pasta has breaded fried chicken piesces and the shrimp pasta had 6 medium sized fresh shrimp (again barely any seasonings on the actual shrimp) definitely was not seasoned as advertised.
I dont really know what to say about these hushpuppies, 6 for $10, they were so small (my GF said so small you could shoot dice with them), with a small amount of flavor to match.
I will say looking back at the pics I took you can see seasoning is there but you cant tast it (its giving paprika and parsley for color if you know what I mean).
Good stop but could be better. Back home to visit my daughter and she was in the mood for some seafood so we decided to give this place a try. Atmosphere was good and the staff was friendly. The food itseld was good, but could reach another level if the lobster mac and cheese actuallyhad more than five or six little pieces of lobster. Better off trying the lobster roll. Overall not a bad choice if in the area
My daughters and I went there today ( Sat) for brunch. We all ordered crab and shrimp boil and fried catfish. The food was Excellent!!! Our waitress/ barmaid Tyler was Amazing!!! She made us the bomb lemon drop and cosmo drinks. We will definitely be back again. You rock Tyler!!!
The drinks here are amazing! Service is excellent. The people are very warm and welcoming. The decor is super fun and the food is sooooo gooood???????? 10/10!!
