Crossed it many times in a semi truck. Met semi trucks going the opposite direction a few times. No mirrors touched! If you hug your curb you’ll be fine (that’s what that right-hand mirror is for ;)…no need to ride up on the curb! Best crossing was in spring flood, when the only patch of earth I saw was the parking area between this bridge and the bridge on the Kentucky side.

Exciting and scary as heck. Bridge is in desperate need of repair. Extremely loud and rickety. Quite a long bridge. Could possibly cause stroke or heart attack. I cannot fathom why thrill seekers would want to jump. Would avoid if hauling heavy or wide loads.

I love crossing the Ohio and Mississippi right here, I always stop at Fort Defiance for a break. It's just a big open parking lot now, but it's never busy.

Narrow and very rough - bumps every grate. Made it over with small rv towing trailer.

My mother’s fear of these bridges makes me laugh but I can see why. My mother would feel SO much better if they would just extend the bridge width of the bridges. Otherwise she won’t be crossing them anymore.

Great bridge! Narrow, tall, and squeaky. It’s a lot more fun when you meet another semi or two!

Unfortunately I crossed this bridge at 1 am in April, 2016. Pitch dark with only the headlights of cars and trucks for navigation. So downloaded photos from the internet.
