Best WLM Reviews
Food was excellent. I had Iskender and it was superb. My husband had Adana Kebap and it was also delicious. Place looks very good but what they are missing is a warm welcome from employees. I am not sure why but no employee was smiling at all. We were three of us and we did not get plates/silvareware for my son so it is not that kidsfriendly. Over all we enjoyed the food and I think it was worth it. They also have cologne at each table which is very nice to have for cleanliness.
Had lunch here with friends and we started off with soup and hummus platter. The bread was nice and warm, wish the hummus were like warm rather than cool. However the main course was spot on, the lamb, chicken and chicken kabob were excellent. The veggie cheese bread was delicious too. A bit in the pricey side, but it was great. The desserts deeply disappointed us.
Amazing experience at this Turkish restaurant. Food tastes authentic! All the kebabs were juicy and the pide was delicious too. Kunefe was hot and perfect at the end. Service was excellent, the server was constantly checking on us. Also met the owners, they were very welcoming and warm. Ambiance is nice and lots of seating available. Will definitely be visiting again to satisfy those Turkish food cravings!
As a Turkish individual residing in the US for almost two decades, Cafe Sabah stands out as an exceptional representation of original and unique Turkish cuisine. Having visited numerous times over the past two years, my family and I consistently leave with a positive experience.
The staff at Cafe Sabah is exceptionally friendly, respectful, and caring. The quality of the food is consistently high, and the pricing is fair. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of dishes suitable for any meal of the day--whether it's breakfast/brunch, lunch, or dinner.
The restaurant's spacious layout makes it an ideal venue for large gatherings. However, it's advisable to check with the owners for assistance with accommodating larger groups. Furthermore, for those with food restrictions like myself, Cafe Sabah exclusively serves 100% halal meat across all selections.
In summary, Cafe Sabah not only delivers an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine but also provides a warm and inviting atmosphere with its friendly staff and spacious setting. The diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone, making it a go-to spot for any occasion. Attached are some pictures I've taken for your reference.
I have been to Turkey before and have had Turkish cuisine pretty much all over their country. This restaurant honestly felt pretty similar to most of the Turkish restaurants throughout the country except that this restaurant has western prices. I felt like much of their menu items were good, the cigar borek/rolls were good, the ezme was flavorful, but the manti and the iskender kebab were a bit disappointing. The manti had a nostalgic flavor but were instantly lukewarm. The iskender kebab didn’t have grilled peppers or grilled tomatoes on the side, the bread didn’t have enough structure like durum or pita bread might have, and fell apart, the sauce was also a bit disappointing. I will say this restaurants strongest point are it’s meats. They have a döner for beef and chicken which gave the iskender meat a good flavor. We didn’t try the desert but they looked appetizing. We also had pretty sub par service only talking to our waiter twice, with not receiving water at all, meanwhile other tables received water. We had asked if one had to pay for tap water here and the waiter said no as we were paying. This place seemed understaffed as we had to walk up and pay after waiting 15-20 minutes to leave.
I would say the biggest criticism is this restaurant is fumbling on quality for the prices they’re charging.
Ready to say we had the best Turkish food in Seattle area. Every dish you ordered was absolutely amazing and the portions are huge! I like the interior and vibe - feels so right. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't crowded, because I believe it deserves a huge popularity. The service is great too: fast and friendly. I will definitely return and enjoy the rest of the meny at this hidden gem.
Came here with group of friends and really liked the food. Was disappointing with service being extremely slow, we came here pretty hungry and the wait time was too much. Even our appetizers came out late.
Appetizers- Veg flatbread was good, appetizers flight was great. The bread came out so cold, wish it was warm. Main course was a hit with us, everything was spot on- Eggs, Meat and soup. Deserts were soo disappointing, nothing seemed good, we tried 3 of them.
Great place for Mediterranean food scene in Renton, much needed infact.
I didn't know what to expect coming in, but I can't wait to go back! Everything was so tender and tasty. You have to get the chocolate pudding it is a perfect finisher to a beautifully flavored meal.
