I visit this location a couple of times a month. The employees are great! They are so nice & friendly, and prepare our order perfectly. The restaurant is always clean and there is always somewhere to sit, even though it is fairly busy. They get the customers through the line quickly.
We've been to a few Cafe Rios and this location is one of the best. They are always quick and delicious. They always get our order right! We love that Cafe Rio has a rewards program so you can get free food. I am obsessed with the sweet pork salad and my husband loves their burritos. If you like Chipotle this place is way better.
The food tasted fine but not great. Nearly all the sauces had film growing on it from not being stirred enough. And I watched them pour new bags of food into the old crusty pans. The tables and bathrooms all needed cleaned and they were low on some of the lemonade type drinks. Initially, I was thinking of giving a three star rating, but then I remembered all the crust. I don’t speak Spanish so I had a harder time communicating with some of the team members who did not seem as fluent in English.
They didn't give us our full order. We waited for 30-35 minutes for curbside, my mother in law is injured so thats why we ordered curbside. Used the app to tell them we were there and she waited and finally called. They brought out our food. They are uncooked quesadillas for the kids. :( with very minimal cheese.
Very disappointed in their customer service afterwards as well.
Honestly, I like the food from this chain, but the night shift staff leaves a lot to be desired, since at 10:27 pm they didn't have any meat or vegetables, the only man on that shift looks at you with displeasure and no desire to take orders.
My wife asked about rice and the young man only responded that it was cooking and when we asked him about the delay time he just looked at us with displeasure without saying anything else.
I recognize the hard work of the workers, but the young man's attitude removes any desire to eat there.
There is nothing good to say about this specific restaurant. It is the dirtiest place I have ever seen. The counter had old dry food all over, and the bins that hold the items to assemble the menu items had food in between the bins. The food in the bins was dry and old looking, not fresh. I started to look a little closer to the area, and the counters further back had food all over them, and floors were the same. The dining room floors looked like they had not been swept all day. I like cafe rio,but I will never return to this establishment.
Actually impressive how bad this experience was. Ordered 6 entrees as a pickup order. Checked the bag after picking up the order to find that they gave us 5 entrees, forgetting a salad (this is just the start). After getting this sorted out, headed home. After arriving home we realized that instead of salmon tacos they gave us shrimp tacos. Wanted the right food so we drove back to the restaurant. They told us that they substitute coconut shrimp for when they are out of salmon. They didn’t even notify us about this change!? Wild. They didn’t have salmon OR chicken to re-make our tacos with so we had to wait for them to make more chicken. Abhorrent customer service and preparation for an order $80+. Goes without saying that we will not be going back to this establishment.
Side note: image attached is the coconut shrimp “tacos” that they substituted without telling us. Just dry shrimp on a tortilla.
Customer service was good. We went at 3 pm and the food and salsa was a little crusty on top
