PSA TO PREGNANT WOMEN: if you are pregnant you know the increased risk of listeria and other food borne illness to you and your baby if food is not properly washed and handled. I ordered a bowl today at almost 6 months pregnant and when I got home and opened it was disgusted to find this. Clearly the lettuce isn’t being washed at all otherwise there wouldn’t be bugs. For your own health and the health of your baby don’t eat at this location.
This location is usually understaffed but the food is normally fine. Only today there was a dead bug in my food. I’ve been eating at Cafe Rio restaurants and have never had bugs in my meal.
I was very much pleased with the quality of food and the level of service the two times I have been here. I was very satisfied. Ordered from the app once and it was super convenient. I then walked in and was happy with how fast the line moved as I only had a short time during lunch. I will be back.
They were short of workers and that’s why it was slow. However those who were there worked hard and as fast as they possibly could they we’re friendly and worked steadily. Those in line like my family were more then willing to wait. It would be nice if we could order on line at this location.
I placed a pick up order from the app. Easy experience except I never received my receipt so I can't receive my points and something is seriously wrong with the topping for the tres leches. (see photos) after looking at the entire order and tasting it I won't be going here again.
I’ve been a frequent customer at Cafe Rio for a while, but my recent experiences have left me disappointed. I ordered a burrito for the second time in a row, and it’s evident that the portion size has significantly decreased. It’s disheartening to see at least 10% - 20% reduction in the quantity of food they used to serve. I hope they reconsider their portion sizes to provide better value for their loyal customers.
My wife and I have been visiting this location for a few years now and the food has been consistent since day 1. Finally giving this place a 5 star review because of the service we received from an employee named Edward last week. The line was long and items were running low and you could tell other team members were running behind and Edward stepped up and helped multiple stations with a positive attitude to get the line flowing again. Employees like him and food like this is why I drive past Costa Vida and Chipotle with a smile.
I always have a great experience at this Cafe Rio! Zeta was working hard to keep the restaurant clean and to make customers feel welcome! I love the strawberry lemonade that has been added to the drink selection-it's so good!
