So this was on my list while in Carmel. OMG didn’t disappoint!
I am a Peets coffee gal through and through and my counter part is Starbucks. Way better than both. The treats were scrumptious and the coffee smooth, no acid taste and just the perfect blend coffee. Don’t blink because you can miss this gem while in Carmel….a must try!!!
Cannolis are really good, filled to order and not too sweet. Strawberry cake was decent. Pricey, but the sizes are pretty good.
One of the best cannolis I’ve ever had! Wish the filling was a wee bit more cheesy, but the shell was delicious, perfectly cooked, and didn’t taste like oil. Knocking one star because if there are more than a few guests inside, no one knows where to stand or order and the staff don’t help.
Was happy to find a gelato place open late! Our drive was far so it was nice to get a treat after a long drive.
The lady was nice and we chose fruity flavors- peach and cherry. Both were food and texture was more creamy than frozen.
Inside is small but we decided to eat and walk around because the city is so charming!
One of the best mocha!! They also serve really good gelato. Friends tried cappuccino and that was amazing as well. This is slightly on the pricier side but I guess that’s true for all the shops around. Liked the cool and calm atmosphere.
Excellent raspberry scone. And for someone who doesn’t like coffee the pumpkin spice latte is surprisingly good. Amazing vibe in this little cafe, the owner is very hardworking and nice. Excellent ice cream as well. Definite 5/5
DON'T GET COFFEE. The sweets are great though!
We had a mocha and it wasn't flavorful. Couldn't taste any coffee or mocha. It tasted pretty watery. For the price of a very small drink, we were disappointed. My kiddo loved the dessert and the service was very friendly and speedy, though.
Visited this spot twice during my stay in Carmel, for good reason! It is 100% on the pricier side but for the fresh and tasty dessert you’re getting, it is very well worth it. They had different desserts and pastries on both my visits (and this was 2 days after each other, so that says a lot). The owner was very friendly as well, and this is a business I will happily come back to and share with others if I have the opportunity to do so. Highly recommend! Especially their pistachio cake, that was my absolute favourite.
