Visited Bristol for a long weekend and came across this gem. Friendly environment and incredible service by the Chef and Host! And take it from a native Cuban: the Food and Mojitos are as good as it gets!
If you’re in Bristol and are looking for a restaurant to meet with friends, go out on a date, or simply try a different cuisine, this is the place.
PS: order “Flan” for dessert - is the best!
Good find! Not a five star place but definitely a good one! We went there on a Saturday night and we were able to find a table with no booking. It was pretty busy though. The atmosphere is great, the cocktails are really good and the food feels like it’s home cooked. I tried the Ropa Vieja (slow cooked beef stew with olives served with rice, avocado and plantains) - it was delicious but I wish it came with a salad or smth lighter on the side. It was a bit heavy in that combination but I guess it’s authentic. Some of the best sweet potato chips I had in Bristol, with garlic drip on top. The Special Mojito was good, though a bit sweet for my taste but still proper (you can always ask for less syrup) Margarita was on point ????and I really appreciated that they left half the rim with no salt (pour le connaisseurs) ..
It is true when they say they serve the best mojitos in Bristol…!!! We are local and come here often - great food, friendly service and brilliant atmosphere. Highly recommend booking in advance as it does get busy, especially on the weekends. 10/10.

Definitely recommend trying this place! We’ve been trying to book for quite some time so recommend ringing in advance but I can totally see why it’s always booked out. The food is PACKED with depth and flavour and the portions are large! We had a range of their dishes and all of them had interesting flavours and were unique to each other. Cocktails were also really nice (and quite strong!) Staff were super helpful and attentive. Can’t say a bad word about it, will definitely be returning
