I came here with my friend and oh my gosh, it blew my expectations. I tried the guac, cauliflower tacos, plantains and the best of all, their bread pudding. I have never had a dessert taste as good as that. The service was great, my water was never empty, I WILL BE BACK.
In our stay in Chicago this was our place to go, we searched restaurants days before our flight from NJ and we don’t regret it at all. Cafe con Leche was amazing from top to bottom, excellent service and absolutely delicious food, the staff very caring and accommodating. I have no doubt that I’ll come back if I visit Chicago again. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing experience here. The food was served well and was delicious. I asked for the meat to be well done and was served as such. Kind of small, but very cozy and atmospheric. The music is a little bit loud, but you'll adapt after a few minutes.
This restaurant was good as always ! I have never reviewed it, but it always hits ????????????I came with the family, and we had some great food that filled us up !!! Thank you for a great experience and service.

Cafe Con Leche is one of our favorite restaurants because of the freshness and high-quality food they produce and the incredible traditional flavors. Everything tastes amazing! From the appetizers to sandwiches, to their main dishes and desserts.
We ordered the Ceviche and it was like a piece of art, and tasted like Zeus himself prepared this dish. Zesty and fresh and the seafood was perfectly balanced.
We have had five of the nine sandwiches offered, and they were all fantastic! … but the Ropa Vieja sandwich / dinner are my faves! The Tampiqueña was phenomenal! A great cut of meat in a very healthy portion will satisfy your appetite.
Their breakfast menu is also amazing, try the steak and eggs or the Chilaquiles. Yummm!
Their bartenders are artists! They make the greatest cocktails. You must try the tamarind old-fashioned. Wow!
All in all always happy to go and sad to leave, but will continue to visit often.

My husband and I went for our anniversary and oh my! The atmosphere was soo welcoming and made you feel comfy like if you were at a family party! The cafe con leche was so good and creamy! We ordered the chicken tinga and shrimp empanadas! Ayy Dios! It was so delicious with the chimichurri sauce ! We also ordered the Ropa Vieja was okay if you do order it and your a person who loves taste and lots seasoning I recommend to use one of the sauces they put on the table and chimichurri sauce, its cooke perfectly, its nice and tender but could use more flavor, the rice and black beans were delicious. For dessert we got the Torta de Chocolate and it was delicious! Nice and warm with vanilla icecream and whip cream yumm! Overall my husband and I enjoyed every moment! The servers were so nice, did an amazing job, made sure they came around, and engaged! Definitely coming back for breakfast. Thank you Cafe Con Leche!
This place was GREAT. Delicious food, fantastic staff, the whole place had a really great vibe. The breakfast burrito and breakfast torta were excellent. Ceviche tasted great, too. Would definitely recommend this place for brunch!
